摘要： A relay station of a mobile communication system is provided. The relay station may receive a connection request from a mobile station of the mobile communication system; determine whether communication resources of the mobile communication system should be allocated to the mobile station based on information received from one or more other relay stations and/or based on a distance between the mobile station and one or more other relay stations and/or a distance between the mobile station and one or more base stations; allocate communication resources to the mobile station if the communication resources should be allocated to the mobile station; and signal to a communication device of the mobile communication system the allocation of communication resources to the mobile station if the communication resources should be allocated to the mobile station. Other embodiments are described.
