    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leak of a soil improving material from an inner pipe in a telescopic drilling rod by the material of the inner pipe and an employment of a pipe side face seal made of a seal member provided with inner packings.
      SOLUTION: The telescopic drilling rod comprises an outer rod, an inner rod which is inserted into the outer rod telescopically and is fixed thereto with connection pins, and the inner pipe which is disposed at the center of the inside of the outer/inner rods to serve as a passage for the soil improving material. The inner pipe consists of a lower pipe at the outer rod side which lower pipe has such a length that the top of the lower pipe reaches the interior of the inner rod, and which lower pipe is provided with a circular seal member attached to the top of the lower pipe, and an upper pipe at the inner rod side which upper pipe is inserted into the lower pipe through the seal member. The seal member is provided with inner multitier rod seal packings which are attached hermetically to seal the outer periphery of the upper pipe. The upper pipe is made of a stainless steel pipe with a polished outer surface.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the increase in earth pressure by the discharging volume of the soil improving material and remove the influence of the earth pressure on the existing structure adjacent to the soil improving zone, by partly restricting the discharge of the soil excavated by a screw. CONSTITUTION:Soft ground or other ground to be improved near an existing structure is excavated to a specified depth bay the use of a soil improving device 1 provided with an excavating and agitating head 3 having delivery outlets 13, 14 of a soil-improving material and an agitation blade 8 at the front end of a screw head 2. After excavation, the soil-improving material delivered to the excavated soil is agitated and mixed with the rotation to improve the soil and at the same time the excavated soil is removed within the allowable range not to affect the earth pressure for the existing structure, by a screw 28 partly equipped at the external periphery of the screw rod, to naturally decrease the earth pressure without disturbance of the underground condition.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent curving from occurring when using a deep-mixing construction method by employing a very simple stabilizer at shaft portions above stirring blades. CONSTITUTION:In a deep-mixing construction method which comprises performing drilling deep into the ground using a double auger 1 having a plurality of stirring blades 5 provided on shaft portions 4 each having drilling blades 2 at its end, and mixing the earth drilled and a processing liquid from the end of the auger together by means of the stirring blades 5, and improving soil deep into the ground, a stabilizer 9 comprises a connector 11 having annular mounting members 10 on both sides by which a pair of shaft portion 4, 4 are freely rotatably connected to each other and semicircular stabilizing plates 12, 12 of the required height which are vertically connected to the outside of the respective mounting members 10. The stabilizer 9 is provided horizontally over the shaft portions 4 above the stirring blades 5. Curving that could be caused by inclination of the double auger 1 underground is prevented by the stabilizing plates 12, 12 on both sides.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the excessive delivery of a ground improvement material and the flowrate eccentricity thereof, and make an easy selection between upper and lower delivery ports for the soil improvement material by forming the delivery ports at upper and lower positions on the central part of a tandem excavation and agitation head via the joint member thereof. SOLUTION: This device is formed out of a tandem excavation head 1 having an excavation weight 6 and an excavation blade 7 on the ends, and a plurality of agitation blades 8 projected from upper and lower positions on the sides, and rotatably jointed in parallel at upper and lower positions via joint members 4 and 5, as well as a pair of screw rods 3 with tubular soil improvement material feed passages 31 inside and connected to the excavation and agitation head 1 with the lower ends coupled to the upper end of each shaft 2. In addition, ground improvement delivery ports 9 and 10 are formed downward on the centers of the upper and lower joint members 4 and 5 of the excavation shafts 2. Thereafter, the delivery ports 9 and 10, and the feed passage 31 are connected to one another via a passage inside each excavation shaft 2, and the delivery ports 9 and 10 are arranged at upper and lower positions on the center of the excavation and agitation head 1.

Lower joints 10 with the excavating rods are extended at the lower ends of the shafts 2. Upper joints 11 with a driving device are elongated at upper ends.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct changeover operation in an underground section of the upper and lower discharge openings of a soil improvement material regardless of excavation depth only by changing the direction of rotation of device itself by utilizing the resistance of excavated materials. SOLUTION: Screw rods 1 and excavating agitating heads 2, in which lower discharge openings 26 are formed at front ends, are connected through discharge- opening changeover devices 3, in which upper discharge openings 35 are bored to side faces. The discharge-opening changeover devices 3 are composed of casings 31, in which oblong guide holes 24 and upper discharge openings 35 are bored to side faces, rotatable valve bodies 32 in the casings and changeover operating members 33 installed to the valve bodies 32 and projected to the outside from the guide holes 24. Bent passages 36 extending over feed passages 12 in the valve bodies and the upper discharge openings 35 and changeover passages 37 branched from the lower passages 36a of the bent passages 36 to the excavation shaft sides are mounted into the valve bodies. The openings of feed passages 25 are formed at places separated from the upper discharge openings 35 on the loci of the changeover passages 37.
