    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic bracket in which an opening/closing block steps out of the way of inserting an orthodontic wire in a wire insertion groove of the bracket, in which construction is simple to make miniaturization possible, and in which lid closing operation of an engaging piece is easy.SOLUTION: An orthodontic bracket of the present invention includes: a tooth abutment plate that is connectable to a tooth flank through an adhesive; a wire insertion block that is roughly U shaped in the cross section of the upper opening; and an opening/closing block that is freely openably/closeably connected transversely to the insertion block through a vertical pivot and that is roughly U shaped in the cross section. The bracket is characterized in that, in opening/closing through the vertical pivot of the opening/closing block, the roughly U shaped upper and lower pieces of the opening/closing block is configured to vertically hold the wire insertion block, thereby enabling the upper opening to be opened/closed in the wire insertion block.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive dental brace which facilitates attaching of a wire and gives little uncomfortable feeling to a user when attaching the wire to a dental brace.
      SOLUTION: The dental brace comprises a base section 10 having a prismatic shape and a stopper 20. The base section has a front end with an insertion groove 11 of a wire and a rear end with an attachment face 12 to be attached to a tooth via an adhesive. The stopper is arranged detachably on the front end of the base section and prevents coming off of the wire inserted into the insertion groove 11 from the insertion groove. The stopper has a blocking plate 21 arranged opposite to the insertion groove for blocking at least a part of the insertion groove, first and second layering plates 24-1 and 24-2 projecting in a shape of a gate from the blocking plate, and engaging nails 25-1 and 25-2 formed on the distal ends of the layering plates respectively for engaging with the base section. Engaging grooves 15-1 and 15-2 that engage with the engaging nails respectively are formed transversely on side faces of the base section, and a slit 19 is formed on at least one of the side faces having the engaging grooves.

    • A method of dusting-preventive treatment in which a powder having dusting property is treated with fibril-forming PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) to impart non-dusting property thereto and the non-dusting property of the powder, after having been reduced during transportation, are economically and advantageously recovered or improved through a relatively simple step.
