    • An LCD includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, first and second alignment films respectively disposed on the first and second substrates. The first substrate comprises multiple scanning lines and multiple data lines intercrossed with the multiple scanning lines to define multiple pixel areas. Each pixel area comprises multiple electrically interconnected first electrodes and multiple electrically interconnected second electrodes. The first electrodes and the second electrodes are disposed on different layers and mutually intersected to define multiple sub-pixel areas. Each sub-pixel area further comprises two protrusion-shaped patterns facing each other on two adjacent first electrodes where the first electrodes and the second electrodes are not overlapped. An angle within a range of 5-20 degrees is defined between the vertex connection direction of the two protrusion-shaped patterns facing each other and the rubbing direction of the first and second alignment films.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panel, including an upper substrate and a lower substrate between which a liquid crystal layer is sealed. The lower substrate includes a plurality of sub-pixel regions arranged in regular patterns. The upper substrate includes Black Matrixes (BM) and an upper transparent conductive layer which are formed in sequence on the bottom surface of an upper transparent substrate. The lower substrate includes a first metal layer, a dielectric layer, a second metal layer, an organic layer, a first insulation layer, a third metal layer, a second insulation layer, a fourth metal layer, a passivation layer and a lower transparent conductive layer which are deposited in sequence on the upper surface of a lower transparent substrate. Embodiments of the present invention also provide a method for producing the LCD panel.

    • A low color shift liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided. The liquid crystal display comprises a plurality of data lines; a plurality of scanning lines arranged across the plurality of data lines, two adjacent scanning lines and two adjacent data lines arranged across the two adjacent scanning lines together defining a pixel region; and a plurality of pixels each comprising a first and a second sub-pixels. The first sub-pixel is connected to a first scanning line of the two adjacent scanning lines, the second sub-pixel includes a compensation capacitor, which is coupled to a second scanning line of the two adjacent scanning lines. Thereby a voltage difference can be maintained between the two sub-pixels under the same driving condition, and the voltage difference can be easily adjusted by suitably changing the waveforms of scanning drive signals on the scanning lines.

    • An array substrate of a liquid crystal display includes data lines; scanning lines configured to cross with the data lines; a test line provided outside a display region of the array substrate for test of the array substrate; and a repair line provided outside the display region for repair of a defective data line. The test line is configured to be electrically isolated from the repair line when the repair is not carried out and is electrically connected to the repair line and the defective data line when the repair is performed. A method of repairing the array substrate and a liquid crystal display using the array substrate are also provided. According to the invention, the test line can be used as a part of a repair circuit for repair of the data lines, thereby greatly decreasing non-display area.

    • The invention discloses a liquid crystal display panel, comprising pixel electrodes, common electrode lines, data lines and scanning lines, wherein at least two of the scanning lines are electrically connected to each other. The liquid crystal display panel has a plurality of conductive sections are disposed above at least part of each of the scanning lines other than said at least two scanning lines and electrically connected to the common electrode lines. The liquid crystal display panel of the invention can use Dot Inversion Driving with low power consumption. Meanwhile, the invention improves consistency of the RC delays on the individual scanning lines, decreases the difference among the RC delays of scanning signals on all of the scanning lines, and thereby achieves uniformity of a display frame on the liquid crystal display panel.
