The flat GLC layer 4 that does not attract concentration of stress is reliably disposed on the titanium oxide layer 3. The polishing surface 2a with given surface roughness is able to transmit carbon ions by appropriate adjustment of a plasma carburization temperature and carburization gas concentration, and plasma carburization conditions are selected and the carburization layer is disposed at or deeper than the polishing surface 2a.
