摘要： An information processing device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a detection unit, a calculation unit, a determination unit, and an estimation unit. The detection unit detects each three-dimensional position of a plurality of parts of an instruction object for indicating an image output surface. The calculation unit calculates an intersection point of a direction indicated by the instruction object and the image output surface based on each three-dimensional position of the parts of the instruction object. The determination unit determines whether the intersection point is within a predetermined range on the image output surface. The estimation unit estimates a position indicated by the instruction object on the image output surface based on the determination made by the determination unit.

摘要： Image data is encoded using a block consisting of a plurality of pixels as a unit of processing. A statistics section extracts statistical information for each pixel value, from a plurality of encoded blocks adjacent to an encoding target block, at each corresponding position within the respective blocks. An encoding processing section performs encoding on the encoding target block using the statistical information extracted by the statistics section. The encoding processing section comprises a prediction section that predicts a value of an encoding target pixel from the selected reference pixel based on the statistical information, a comparison section that detects an error between the predicted value and the value of the encoding target pixel, and an encoding section that performs entropy encoding on the prediction error.

A transform portion transforms each of the plurality of block data by a frequency transform method so as to produce a transform factor. A quantizing portion, having a plurality of quantization tables, quantizes the transform factor using one of the plurality of quantization tables. An encoding portion encodes an output of the quantizing portion. A reverse transform portion restores image data from the output of the quantizing portion. A measuring portion measures an error between the input image data and the image data restored by the reverse transform portion. The quantizing portion quantizes the transform factor again using another one of the plurality of quantization tables when the error measured by the measuring portion exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
