摘要： 283,821. Noguchi, T. Sept, 21, 1927. Mounting.-A fan mounted on the shaft 11 is driven by the electric motor 1 the casing of which can be clamped by a screw 5 to a supporting vertical spindle 3 resting in ball bearings in a stand 2. Electric current is supplied to the motor through slip rings 8 and a lead 7 which passes through the spindle 3. The end of the shaft 11 remote from the fan, drives a vertical shaft 12 through worm gear which may be moved into engagement by the operation of the knob 13. A sleeve 14 is mounted to slide on the spindle 12 and is normally held in its upper position by a spring 19. Another sleeve 21 is slidably mounted on the sleeve 14 and has an expanded base which carries a frictional ring 22 of rubber or the like. Spring pressed balls 18 in the sleeve 21 engage grooves 18a, 18b in the sleeve 14 in the upper and lower positions respectively of the outer sleeve 21. A stud 24 on the end plate 23 of the outer sleeve is connected by a link 25 with a universal joint at each end to a cap 27, which can be screwed on to a projection 26 on the stand 2. With the worm-gear disconnected the motor simply rotates the fan, but when the worm-gear is moved into engagement by the knob 13, and the friction ring 22 is moved to engage the spherical part 9 of the standard 2, the fan head will be caused to oscillate while the cap 27 is screwed to the projection 26 as shown in Fig. 1. If the cap is removed from the projection the fan head will rotate continuously round the stand. A polygonal ring may be substituted for the circular ring 22 and the fan head then rotates intermittently.

摘要： A recording apparatus comprises a recording device, a changing device, a storage device and a control device. The recording device records recording data on a recording medium. The changing device receives a plurality of recording media supplied from an outside, selects one of the plurality of recording media as received and replaces the first recording medium loaded in the recording device with the second recording medium as selected. The storage device stores, during replacement of the first recording medium, the recording data recorded thereon. The control device controls the recording device and the changing device, monitors a remaining recording capacity or recording time of the first recording medium during recording, causes the first recording medium to be replaced based on monitoring results, and reads, after completion of the replacement of the first recording medium, the recording data of the first recording medium from the storage device and records same on the second recording medium.

In the glass the ratio of ferrous iron to ferric iron is in the range from 0.17 to 0.55. The glass has a neutral grayish tint and is well balanced in visible light transmittance, infrared radiation absorption and ultraviolet radiation absorption, and a sheet of the glass can be easily tempered by a conventional method.

In producing this glass, it is favorable to use cullet of a frit glass in which the ratio of ferrous iron to ferric iron is from 2.0 to 5.0 as a part of a batch of glass compostion to be melted.

The shaft supports each of the diaphragm elements at a point of contact with the periphery of the hole. The diaphragm elements move along the second direction with support by the shaft.
