    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splicer that joins an edge of an old base sheet and an edge of a new base sheet butted each other, with a one-side adhesive tape.
      SOLUTION: This splicer includes left and right one-side adhesive tape applying devices B placed on left and right base sheet stoppers 1 in a mill roll stand A, and a splice head D moving horizontally over the devices B. Each of the devices B includes a sucking bar 4 in the sheet-width direction and a tape applicator 5 that runs on the bar 4 and applies a one-side adhesive tape 10 on an upper surface of a leading end portion of the new base sheet 3 by projecting a portion from the applicator 5. The splice head D includes a double-edged cutter 33 that cuts the old sheet 2 and a pair of crimp bars 4 placed opposedly on both left and right outer sides of the upper portion of the cutter 33. Also, on left and right sides of the cutter 33, a pair of left and right moving device F for the new sheet is placed, to move the end of the new sheet 3 with the tape 10 stuck thereon to outside of the cutter 33.

Therefore, it is sent in a lap state by the carrying conveyer A. For example, a corrugated cardboard sheet 37 is sent to the carrying out conveyer B without shifting to left/right and slanting and discharged one by one in slantly downward state from the carrying out end of the carrying out conveyer B into a guide hopper C and slided while being supported onto the upper surface of the corrugated cardboard sheet 37 whose tip is already loaded and collided to a vertical guide plate 36 and stopped and piled up.

    • PURPOSE: To cut a thick paper material, delivered in a belt shape from a manufacturing device, accurately into a prescribed length without stopping running this thick paper material, by providing a rotary blade in a carriage moving at a speed equal to the thick paper material, and moving this rotary blade in the width direction of the thick paper material. CONSTITUTION: A measuring device 28 of measuring a length, through which a thick paper material 3 passes, is mounted. By a pulse signal generated from this measuring device 28, a front/rear retaining lever 10 is lowered down to press the thick paper material 3 onto a carriage 6. Simultaneously with this pressing, an air cylinder 22 is extended to advance the carriage 6, connected through a connecting plate 24 to a tip end of this cylinder 22, at a speed equal to the thick paper material 3 along a guide rail 5. With this advancing the carriage, a rotary blade 17 between the front/rear retaining levers 10 is moved while forwardly rotated to one side of the carriage 6 and while reversely rotated to the other side of the carriage 6, along a horizontal shaft 14. In this way, the thick paper material 3, while running without stopping, is cut by the rotary blade 17 into a prescribed length.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the extent work efficiency by installing a rolling transferring roll in a car body traveling on a guide rail, and making it so as to give forward rotation to a cylindrical body with rotation of this roll, in case of a rolling transferrer for the cylindrical body such as a corrugated board manufacturing cardboard roll or the like. CONSTITUTION:The a base paper roll 13 conveyed to a nearby spot of an installation chamber 15 is positioned on a guide rail 16, opening a cover body 17, and a car body A is projected out of the installation chamber 15. Next, the front side of a rolling transferring roll 6 is made contact with the rear side of the base paper roll 13. Then, when the car body A is advanced forward, the rolling transferring roll 6 is rotated via gears 7 to 10 in the reverse direction to each rotational direction of travel wheels 3 and 4. Accordingly, the base paper roll 13 contacting with the roll 6 rotates in the forward direction, advancing forward, and it is transferred onto a pan 14. With this constitution, a weighty cylindrical body can be easily pushed up so that work efficiency is improvable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper splicing method for a splicer for splicing an engaging base paper and a new base paper to each other with a pressure sensitive adhesive single-coated tape, and to provide a device for the same. SOLUTION: This paper splicing method for a splicer splices a tip of a new base paper supported by one base paper support to the engaging base paper delivered from the other base paper support of a mill roll stand. The pressure sensitive adhesive single-coated tape is put on from one side to the other side of a tip of the new base paper with a part of the pressure sensitive adhesive single-coated tape projected from the tip of the new base paper, and thereafter, the tip of the new base paper is transferred to the paper splicing position, and the adhesive surface of the projecting part of the pressure sensitive adhesive single-coated tape is arranged opposite to the engaging base paper, and a lower end of the engaging base paper cut at the paper splicing position is pressed for adhesion to the projecting part of the pressure sensitive adhesive single- coated tape to splice a lower edge of the engaging base paper and an upper edge of the new base paper, while abutting them on each other.
