摘要： A rotation speed controller performs a rotation speed control to allow the rotation speed of a first rotating electrical machine to be equal to a start up target value, when an internal combustion engine is started while a frictional engagement device is disengaged. An engagement controller controls a non-synchronization engagement of the frictional engagement device and allows the frictional engagement device to be in a direct engagement state when performing the rotation speed control. A start up instruction unit gives a start up instruction with respect to the internal combustion engine on condition of being directly engaged. The rotation speed controller sets the start up target value so that a rotation speed at the time of a direct connection, which is a rotation speed of the engine while in direct engagement, becomes a start up rotation speed that is set within a startable rotation speed range of the engine.

The control determines, when engine stop conditions are established while the engagement device is drivably connected, the engine is operating, and the output member is rotating, whether rotation of the first electric machine when stop conditions are established is opposite to rotation of the first electric machine when rotation of the engine stops; executes torque control where the first electric machine outputs torque to reduce the rotational speed of the engine when the stop establishing rotational direction is opposite to the subject rotational direction; and issues a command to release the drivable connection when the rotational speed of the first electric machine falls within a rotational speed range that includes zero.

摘要： A hybrid drive unit includes a hybrid mechanism having at least one electric motor and a transfer that distributes driving force to front and rear wheels. The electric motor and the transfer are housed in a tubular shaped transmission case that extends in the front and rear directions of a vehicle. The hybrid drive unit is mounted on and supported by a second attachment coupled to an internal combustion engine and provided at a front end of the hybrid drive unit and a first attachment portion fixed to a vehicle body. The electric motor and the transfer that are heavy structural members of the hybrid drive unit are positioned separately to the front and rear of the first attachment portion that forms a boundary. By adopting this configuration, it is possible to reduce the amount of engine vibration that is transmitted to the vehicle body through the first attachment portion.
