摘要： The present invention relates to an intra-body communication (IBC) device and a method of implementing the IBC device. The IBC device is fabricated as a system-on-a-chip (SOC) and comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, an IBC module and a biomedical chip. The first electrode is connected to a patient's skin. The second electrode is connected to the patient's skin. The IBC module is connected to the first electrode and comprises a wireless communication device. The biomedical chip is connected to the second electrode and communicates with the IBC module through the patient's skin to receive external commands and transmit sensed biomedical parameters to a faraway location.

Another embodiment of the electromagnetic wave absorption component includes an electromagnetic shield constituted by at least one material selected from the group consisting of a carbon nanocoil and a carbon fiber, and a solidified layer, formed by solidifying a solidifiable material, applicable to encapsulating the electromagnetic shield. 摘要： A MEMS wireless monitoring bio-diagnosis system includes an implantable biosensor system chip, a surface transmitter and an external monitor center. The implantable biosensor system chip contains a biosensor for a cardio-vascular indicator and a wireless transmitter to deliver detected bio-signal data. With the MEMS wireless monitoring bio-diagnosis system, the bio-signal data can be monitored effectively and transmitted to a remote medical unit.

摘要： A sub-harmonic mixer and a down converter with the sub-harmonic mixer are provided. The sub-harmonic mixer includes a differential amplifying unit, a current buffer unit, and a switching unit. The differential amplifying unit is used to amplify a radio frequency (RF) signal and employs a first resonance circuit to force a leakage signal to flow to a first voltage. The current buffer unit is used to amplify the gain of an output signal of the differential amplifying unit and employs a second resonance circuit to force the leakage signal to flow to a second voltage. Finally, the switching unit switches an output signal of the current buffer unit into a base band signal.

摘要： A flexible semiconductor device and a fabrication method thereof are disclosed. The method includes the steps of providing a CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) chip having a silicon substrate, wherein an IC (integrated circuit) is formed on the silicon substrate; mounting the chip on a carrier board via the IC-laden side of the chip, wherein the IC-laden side of the chip is in contact with the carrier board; thinning the silicon substrate; forming a resilient plastic layer made of PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) on the thinned silicon substrate; and removing the carrier board. The chip is flexible enough to expose testing pads on the front of the chip so as to facilitate wire bonding and probing. The resilient plastic layer enables uniform distribution of stress exerted on the chip and thereby guards the chip from cracking.

摘要： The designing method and circuits for a multi-band electronic circuit having at least one transistor have been proposed. The proposed method includes steps of: (a) changing the capacitance between the input terminal and the output terminal of the transistor of the circuit, and (b) obtaining the resonant frequency of the circuit in response to the changed capacitance for switching among multiple bands. The designing method and circuits for a multi-band amplifier, which includes at least one transistor having an input terminal and an inductor electrically connected to the input terminal of the transistor, have been proposed too. The designing method for a multi-band amplifier includes steps of: changing the bias of the transistor, and switching the resonant frequency of the input impedance of the transistor and the inductor in response to the changed bias for switching among multiple bands.

摘要： This invention is primarily a circuit structure of self-mixing receiver, and the methodology of circuit structure is described as follows. The first stage is a high input impedance voltage amplifier utilized to amplify the received RF carrier signal from the antenna. Besides, there are no any inductors required. The second stage is a multi-stage amplifier to amplify the output signal of first stage to rail-to-rail level, which is quite the same with supply voltage. The third stage is a mixer adopted to lower the signal frequency. The fourth stage is a digital output converter, which is proposed to demodulate the electric signals and convert the demodulated signal to digital signal.
