摘要： 213,525. Soc. Anon. Solex. March 26, 1923, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-The carburettor is so constructed that it can be taken to pieces by removing the parts in a vertical direction or, when cir. cumstances require, in a horizontal direction and so that each part can be formed of the most appropriate metal. The carburettor is formed of four principal parts, viz., the valve casing a, the air admission casing b, the float chamber cover c and the float chamber body d. The part a has flat machined faces to which are fitted corresponding faces on the parts b,c, the part c being secured by a bolt p, Fig. 2, and receiving vertically the float chamber d secured bv a bolt w. A throttle valve e controls both the carburettor passages into which discharge nozzles l supplied by dipping nozzles t fed with fuel through constricted orifices and with air from a chamber communicating with the main air inlet. A correcting plug valve u opens above the nozzles t and communicates with a chamber j open to the main air inlet. Slow-running nozzles s deliver fuel to mix with air passing from the inlet b through passage m and chamber j and the mixture is conveyed by passages i. The float chamber cover contains a fuel filter r and a drain for unvaporized fuel is provided at o.
