    • The invention relates to a method for distributing packages and other similar dispatched articles consisting in detecting the packages dispatched between private and/or commercial shippers and addressees at collection points. The packages are provided with electronically detectable acquisition data at a collection point and, afterwards are distributed and/or delivered my means of corresponding transport vehicles. According to said invention, the collected packages are sent to a HUB-centre where the respective package codes are updated with data on package dimensions (length, width height, weight) in such a way that a route code is formed. Said package route codes for all packages are transmitted to a central computer and the packages are arranged in a given order according to distribution areas and the route program which is dynamically optimised by the central computer. The package priority and the corresponding sorting of route codes are taken over by a vehicle and packages are distributed to addressees according to an automatically controlled dispatching order.
