摘要： A computerized numerical controller wherein a tape reader, upon reading of input tapes, inputs machine control data including source language instruction data into a storage device of a data processing device. The processing device, when operated under the control of an automatic programming program, converts the source language instruction data into blocks of machine part instruction data and stores the same in the storage device. The processing device, when operated under the control of a numerical control program, produces command signals each indicative of the length and velocity that a machine apparatus connected thereto is to move, in accordance with each of the blocks of the machine part instruction data and outputs the command signals to the machine apparatus so as to control the same. The processing device is enabled to operate selectively under the above-mentioned two programs.

摘要： In a programmable sequence controller, a memory stores an auxiliary function decoding program comprising command information and address information. A comparator circuit capable of a simultaneous comparison of a plurality of bits is operatively connected to an external numerical control device to receive auxiliary function data therefrom and connected to receive address information of the decoding program for comparing the auxiliary function data with the address information of the decoding program. A logic operation circuit included in the programmable sequence contoller is operatively connected to the comparator circuit to examine the comparison result of the comparator circuit based upon command information of the decoding program, whereby the auxiliary function data is decoded.

摘要： A motor vehicle is provided with a driving status discrimination device, which includes a steering angle sensor for detecting the rotational angle of a steering wheel and a microcomputer for reading and processing the steering angle signal each time the vehicle runs a predetermined distance. The microcomputer identifies one of steering angular ranges of intervals to which each detected steering angle belongs so as to record the frequency at which the steering wheel was turned to each steering angular interval. The microcomputer modifies the frequency for each steering angle interval with a weighting coefficient determined for the steering angular interval and then, calculates a total or integrated value of the modified frequencies for the steering angular intervals. Further, the microcomputer discriminates town street driving from mountain road driving based upon the integrated value so that the assisting power generated by a power steering mechanism of the motor vehicle can be controlled based upon the result of such discrimination.

摘要： A sequence instruction display system for use with a programmable sequence controller for displaying a desired sequence instruction and the on-off state of the input or output element corresponding thereto. A buffer memory is provided for storing input and output instructions along with the corresponding on-off states transmitted from a program memory of the sequence controller on an on-line basis with the scan of the program memory in the sequence controller. A numeric key is provided to designate an output instruction. A comparator, on detecting the coincidence of the designated output instruction with an output instruction transmitted from the sequence controller, outputs a signal so as to prevent the buffer memory from further storing the input and output instructions. A data display device displays at a time one of the input and output instructions along with the on-off state stored in the buffer memory.
