The sheet is superposed onto the gold film and scanned with a laser beam to fuse the sheet and the gold, without fusing the tungsten, thereby avoiding spalling of the metal and microcracking of the ceramic.

摘要： A deflection yoke for a television receiver comprises a toroidally wound vertical deflection coil. The coil is wound with successive active conductor windings alternately disposed adjacent to two horizontal deflection return flux paths to eliminate induced voltage buildup in the vertical coils from the horizontal return flux. The coil may be wound with a double bias configuration to permit correction of vertical coma errors and side pincushion raster distortion.

摘要： A desoldering tip, adapted to be attached to a standard pencil soldering iron, is formed with a recess adapted to closely fit over a leadless component soldered and adhered with an adhesive to a printed circuit board. Solder present in the recess attaches the component to the tool by molecular attraction. Once the solder and adhesive are melted, the component is readily lifted from the board with the tool. The component is then ejected from the tool.

摘要： A deflection yoke comprises a magnetically permeable core having two separable halves. A yoke interlock member is attached to each core half with its position accurately fixed with respect to the core a pair of vertical deflection coils are toroidally-wound about the core with their position fixed with respect to the interlock members. The interlock member incorporates a number of horizontal coil engaging surface to fix the position of a horizontal coil with respect to the interlock member. The interlock member also incorporates tabs which separate the horizontal coils by a known distance. A pair of saddle-type horizontal deflection coils are disposed within the interior region of the core engaging the coil engaging surfaces and separated by the coil separation tabs. The interlock member therefore allows the construction of a yoke which provides accurate positioning of the vertical and horizontal coils with respect to each other and with respect to the core.

摘要： A multipoint electrical interconnection (10) provides a plurality of electrical pathways between electrically conductive hooks (15) on a substrate (12) and an electrical component (50). A plurality of electrically conductive hooks generally formed in the shape of a `J` have a head portion (20) affixed to the substrate such that a hook portion (17) protrudes above the substrate. An electrically conductive portion of a component is disposed against the substrate such that it contacts at least three of the electrically conductive hooks and deforms the hooks. The deformed hooks provide a spring force to effect a multipoint electrical connection.
