A rotary disc valve particularly for use in glass laboratory apparatus, comprises glass body and valve member discs 1, 2 having plane accurately ground and polished engaging surfaces which when mounted on a central pivot pin 3 adhere together by surface tension. On rotation of the disc 2 by ears 8 an arcuate recess 2a in the disc 2 interconnects radially projecting ducts 6, 7 opening into the engaging surface of the disc 1 to permit flow through the valve. In a modification, a valve disc 2 is sandwiched between a pair of body discs, each face of the disc 2 being formed with an arcuate recess and each body disc having a pair of ducts opening into the face adjacent the disc 2. The recesses and ducts may be arranged so that each pair of ducts are interconnected simultaneously on rotation of the disc 2 or they may be arranged so that one pair are connected whilst the other pair are disconnected. The one or each body disc may have more than two ducts and the one or both faces of the valve disc more than one arcuate recess to permit of valves other than two-way valves.

    • The invention is a system of components that when assembled within a vehicle creates an elevated, stable and comfortable riding platform for dogs (6) (7). The invention achieves this uniquely by substantially filling existing volumes of space in the vehicle with components made of compressible yet structurally firm material such that a large elevated platform emerges that is bound by three existing surfaces in the vehicle and that moves in lock step with the vehicle's motion. The invention assembles and disassembles quickly and has no attachment points to any part of the vehicle interior. Dogs can assume the natural down resting position and experience safety, comfort and a visual experience usually only available to human passengers along with greatly reduced anxiety and fewer incidents of motion sickness.

According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises creating one or more trade zones, wherein creating a trade zone comprises grouping a set of parameters to deliver custom shapes, clustering the custom shapes according to offline data and geographic distribution of IP addresses, and mapping clusters of the custom shapes to IP addresses. Data indicating consumption of a content source is received, the content source having a plurality of tokens. The plurality of tokens is organized according to the one or more trade zones, wherein the one or more trade zones consume the tokens at a calculated rate and the calculated rate is analyzed to determine an interest associated with each trade zone. Targeting is based on a selected trade zone, wherein the selected trade zone is selected based upon a desired interest representative of a desired audience. A targeting request is transmitted including instructions or information associated with the target action, and the target action is performed.
