    • A machine for assembling polyhedron devices comprising lifting means for lifting a polyhedron blank from a supply stack. Forming means receive the polyhedron blank from the lifting means and form the polyhedron into a polyhedron shaped article. A resilient member inserter means inserts a resilient member, such as a rubber band, into the polyhedron blank on the forming means so that the resilient member will bias the polyhedron shaped article into its formed configuration. Preferably the polyhedron assembling machine of the present invention further comprises adhesive applying means for applying adhesive to the polyhedron blank in the forming means. The machine of the present invention may further comprise a polyhedron blank holder means for holding a supply stack of polyhedron blanks to be lifted by the lifting means.The invention also comprehends a method of making a collapsible polyhedron article.

    • An backup vehicular traffic control system employs a connector-switch including a normally-closed electrical switch connected in series between a traffic signal and a primary control system. In the event of an emergency condition, such as a failure of the primary control system and/or failure of a primary power source, or in the event of a shutdown condition, such as a shutdown of the primary control system and/or shutdown of the primary power source, a connector is manually connected to the connector-switch. The normally-closed electrical switch is opened when the connector is connected to the connector-switch, disconnecting the primary control system from the traffic signal. Also upon the connection of the connector to the connector-switch, an auxiliary control system coupled to the connector is coupled through the connector and connector-switch to the traffic signal. After being connected, the auxiliary control system assumes control of the time of operation of the traffic signal.

    • A compact transportable electromagnetic pulse (EMP) generating system for generating and transmitting EMPs at a target vehicle to disrupt electronics controlling operation of the target vehicle. The system comprises a power conditioning unit for applying a high voltage signal to a pulse generator after safety and security interlocks have been satisfied and a user actuated command received by the conditioning unit from a system control unit. The system control unit also generates a fire control trigger pulse for actuating the pulse generator and a oscillator trigger unit. After a predetermined time delay the trigger unit actuates an oscillator primed by the output of the pulse generator to transmit a series of pulses to a radiating system via an impedance matching transmission line. The radiating system radiates the EMPs having characteristics which will disable electronics in a target vehicle.
