    • In accordance with embodiments of the invention, Mobile IP binding information is used to deliver mobile terminating packets using layer-2 tunneling. When terminating packets destined for a mobile node are received by a home network for the mobile node, the Mobile IP binding is used to obtain the address of a foreign network to which the mobile node is attached. A Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol tunnel is created between the home network and the foreign network, and an outgoing L2TP call is made from the home network to the foreign network. A call is made from the foreign network to the mobile node, and a PPP session is established between the home network and the mobile node, via the Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol tunnel between the home network and the foreign network. After the PPP session is established the home network can optionally assign the mobile node a private IP address, and translate the home IP address labeling the terminating packets to the private IP address.

    • Apparatus for repeatedly indicating incremental pressure fluctuations and methods employing same are disclosed. A chamber may be sealed at an initial pressure and configured to respond to a pressure difference between the initial pressure and subsequent pressure within a container. The container may be filled via a valve mechanism exhibiting a first operational state that may allow for entry of material into the container while sealing the chamber at the initial pressure of the container as it began to be filled. A movable element communicating with the sealed chamber and the container may respond to a pressure differential therebetween, thus causing an indicator to indicate an incremental pressure fluctuation. The valve mechanism may exhibit a second operating state that may allow for the chamber and container pressures to be substantially equalized.

    • The present invention creates a permanent record of an animal through a series of steps including, preliminarily acquiring an image of the retinal vasculature of the animal of interest; digitizing that image if the image is not a digital image; analyzing the image to determine if the image is satisfactory for further analysis; storing the image; and analyzing the image for unique anatomical landmarks. The image and data gathered therefrom may be stored in a database for later retrieval and comparison against other images. The data gathered from the image may be compared against other stored data in the database to determine the identity of the animal. Preferably, the system would also include a global positioning system (“GPS”) device which would simultaneously time and date stamp the acquired image as well as stamp the image with the location where the imaging took place by recording the latitude and longitude of that location.

    • An accessory for use with a conventional door closer having a body for mounting on a hinged door or the door jamb and a spring biased rotatable shaft constantly urging the door toward a closed position. The accessory comprises a first member having a reaction plate fixed with respect to the door closer body, a second member, such as an externally splined ring, fixed with respect to the door closer shaft, and a member, such as a flanged collar, rotatably interconnecting the first and second members. The collar is threaded into a hole in the reaction plate, and has an internally splined hole accommodating and meshing with the splined ring. The force of frictional engagement between the flange and the reaction plate progressively increases as the door is opened, and at an adjustable predetermined open position of the door the frictional resistance between the flange and reaction plate is stronger than the closing force of the door closer, so that the door is held open.
