摘要： Gasket for refrigerator cabinets of the kind including a soft bellows-type portion used for sealing the area between the cabinet and the door and extending from a base portion able to match the outer door and/or inner door of the refrigerator cabinet. The base portion is substantially rigid and has at one end, a sealing portion made of substantially soft material extending toward the inner door. The soft material portion has good flexible and spring back features when exposed to refrigerator and freezer temperatures. These features make the gasket able to further seal, preferably by compression, the space located between the cabinet and inner door in a more internal area of the refrigerator cabinet. Furthermore, the soft sealing portion is independent and free from constraints with respect to the soft bellows-type portion.

摘要： A refrigeration circuit (3) for household appliances comprises a compressor (4) suitable for compressing a predetermined cooling fluid and for allowing the circulation thereof within said circuit (3), a first heat exchanger (5) or condenser in fluid communication with the compressor (4) for allowing the cooling and the consequent condensation of the cooling fluid going through, and a second heat exchanger (7) or evaporator in fluid communication with the first exchanger (5) through a circuit with a special device (6) suitable for decreasing the pressure of the cooling fluid at a space (2) to be cooled (normally inside the refrigerator). The second exchanger (7) allows the cooling fluid to evaporate, absorbing heat, thus cooling the space (2) and returning through the tubing (17) to the compressor (4). The cooling fluid circulates from the compressor (4) towards the first exchanger (5), from the latter towards the second exchanger (7) and then returns to the compressor (4) for a subsequent cycle. At least one of the heat exchangers (5, 7) comprises a plastic tubing (9), at least a portion whereof exhibits such corrugated profile as to impart flexibility thereof and/or increase the thermal exchange surface.

摘要： A method and apparatus for heat-welding corners lengths of profiles together, for sealing gaskets, where the profiles include at least one extendible or compressible air chamber and are cut at their ends at an angle. The method includes positioning two profiles, with one of the cut ends of each profile opposite each other inside a suitable device including clamps which make the positioning possible, heating the positioned ends until the positioned ends reach a softened state, choking the profiles so as to completely occlude the air chambers along choking sections, closing the clamps in order to cause the profiles to come into mutual mating contact at the heated ends, injecting air into the air chambers by perforating the air chambers in a region between the choking sections and the heated ends so as to apply pressure to walls of the profiles in that region, pressing the walls against walls of the clamps to join the heated ends by heat-welding under pressure, and opening the occluded sections. The apparatus includes a heating element to heat one of the ends of each profiles, clamps to position the profiles with the cut ends opposite each other and for mutually mating the heated ends together, needles for injecting air inside an interior of the air chambers nearby the ends to be heat-welded, and devices to choke the profiles by completely occluding said air chambers along choking sections.

摘要： A gasket for forming a seal between an outer door member and an inner door member, as well as a cabinet of a refrigeration unit. The gasket is adapted to seal the inner door edge of the inner door member to the outer door member, as well as between the outer door member and the cabinet. The gasket includes a semi-rigid profile portion joined to a bellows seal portion. The profile includes a base with a substantially C-shaped cross-section having upper and lower sections and a vertical or oblique section therebetween. An elbow piece formed at the lower section acts as a hinge for allowing elastic splaying of the lower section to snap-engage the edge of the inner door member. The lower section includes a projection that interfaces with an entire perimeter of the inner door member and that is directed toward the upper section to engage with a corresponding grooved seat formed on the inner door member. The bellows portion forms a seal with the cabinet.
