摘要： Apparatus for vaporizing liquid in a vaporization pathway having an actively controlled temperature are disclosed according to some aspects. The apparatus can comprise a first body having a cross sectional shape and dimensions substantially equal to the cross sectional shape and dimensions of a cavity in a second body, which allows the first body to be non-permanently inserted into the second body. The outer surface of the first body, the inner surface forming the cavity in the second body, or both can be modified to create a vaporization pathway between the first and second bodies when the surfaces mate and/or align. The liquid vaporizer can further comprise a vaporization pathway inlet for fluid comprising liquid, a vaporization pathway outlet for fluid comprising primarily vapor, and a heater in thermal communication with the first body, the second body, or both. The heater provides active control of the temperature of the vaporization pathway.

摘要： A method of applying a catalyst to a substrate surface of a reactor chamber comprises applying to the substrate surface a mixture having particles of the catalyst, optionally particles of a ductile material, and a gas, at an application temperature and with an application kinetic energy, causing bonding of the particles to the substrate surface. The particles have a melting temperature and the application temperature is lower than the melting temperature of the particles. At least part of the particles mechanically deform upon application of the mixture at the application temperature and at the application kinetic energy. Application of the mixture having particles of the catalyst onto the substrate surface can be preceded by application of a first mixture comprising particles of a ductile material and gas.

摘要： A fixture (20) for holding a workpiece (22) during a manufacturing process includes a base (24) and a rod (26) received by and moveable relative to the base. The rod includes a proximal end (28) presenting a bonding surface. Adhesive (32) establishes an adhesive bond extending between and bonding to the bonding surface and the workpiece. The bonding surface is moveable with the rod relative to the base in an adhesive bond destroying motion. A method of holding the workpiece on the fixture includes the step of adjoining the adhesive to the bonding surface and to the workpiece to create the adhesive bond between the bonding surface and the workpiece during the manufacturing process. The method also includes the step of displacing the bonding surface relative to the base and relative to the workpiece to destroy the adhesive bond between the bonding surface and the workpiece after the manufacturing process has been performed on the workpiece.
