摘要： A swash plate compressor capable of realizing an excellent sliding characteristic when a drive shaft is rotated at high speed, and a high refrigerating capacity when the drive shaft is rotated at low speed, has a release passage for communication between a crank chamber and a suction chamber. The release passage includes a first passage communicated to an oil rich region, in the crank chamber, and a second passage communicated to an oil poor region, in which lubricating oil is small in quantity, in the crank chamber. A valve mechanism that increases an opening ratio of the first passage with respect to the release passage, as a rotational speed of a drive shaft increases, and increases an opening ratio of the second passage with respect to the release passage, as the rotational speed of the drive shaft decreases.

摘要： A compressor includes a housing, a compression mechanism, an input shaft rotatable on an axis thereof, an output shaft for driving the compression mechanism, a transmission for transmitting torque from the input shaft to the output shaft and also changing the rotating speed of the input shaft and a control device for controlling the operation of the transmission. The transmission includes a plurality of planetary rollers, a carrier rotatably supporting the respective planetary rollers and being integrally rotatable with the input shaft, a sun roller engaged with the respective planetary rollers and integrally rotatable with the output shaft and a ring roller engaged with the respective planetary rollers. The ring roller can be fixed to the housing or rotatable relative to the housing. The control device includes a one-way clutch allowing the ring roller to rotate only one direction relative to the carrier and a clutch fixing the ring roller to the housing or allowing the ring roller to rotate relative to the housing. The input shaft, the carrier, the respective planetary rollers and the sun roller cooperate to form an assembly that can move as a unit relative to the housing in the direction that is parallel to the axis.

The main pump includes a pump chamber and a gas transferring body that is located in the pump chamber. The sub pump is connected to the exhaust space for partially exhausting the gas from the exhaust space. The sub pump is driven by the same drive source. The displacement volume of the sub pump is smaller than that of the main pump.

摘要： A Roots pump rotates a plurality of rotors by a pair of rotary shafts to draw gas. Each rotary shaft extends through a rear housing member of the Roots pump. An annular shaft seal is fitted around each rotary shaft and is received in a recess formed in the rear housing member. A labyrinth seal is located between an end surface of each shaft seal and the bottom of the associated recess. A resin layer is firmly attached to the end surface of each shaft seal. As a result, oil is reliably prevented from leaking into a pump chamber.

摘要： A viscous fluid type heat generator which comprises a housing assembly defining therein a heat generating chamber in which heat is generated, and a heat receiving chamber arranged adjacent to the heat generating chamber for permitting a heat exchanging fluid to circulate therethrough to receive heat transferred from the heat generating chamber. A drive shaft is rotatably supported by the housing assembly and is operationally connected to an external rotation-drive source. A rotor element is mounted onto and driven by the drive shaft for rotation within the heat generating chamber. A viscous fluid is held in a gap defined between the inner wall surfaces of the heat generating chamber and the outer surfaces of the rotor element, for heat generation under shearing stress applied by the rotating rotor element. A temperature sensor is provided to detect a temperature of a part of the viscous fluid flowing in an outer peripheral region of the gap. Heat generation suppressing means is provided for suppressing the heat generation of the viscous fluid under the shearing stress when the temperature of the part of the viscous fluid, detected by the temperature sensor, exceeds a predetermined limit temperature.

A rotor element is mounted to be rotated by a drive shaft for rotation within the heat generating chamber. A viscous fluid is held in a gap defined between the inner wall surfaces of the heat generating chamber and the outer faces of the rotor element, for heat generation under shearing stress applied by the rotation of the rotor element. A heat exchanging fluid circulates through the heat receiving chamber to receive heat transferred through the partition wall from the heat generating chamber. A plurality of grooves, protuberances or expression are formed on at least one of the inner wall surfaces of the heat generating chamber to increase the total heat transfer surface area in the inner wall surfaces, and thus enhance a heat transfer efficiency through the partition wall. The density of arrangement of the grooves in the outer peripheral area of the inner wall surface is larger than that in the inner peripheral area of the inner wall surface.

摘要： A fluidic apparatus includes a pulley driven by an engine, torque limiting means disposed in the pulley and adapted to shut off the transmission of driving force transmitted by the pulley when overload is applied thereto, and a driving shaft driven by the torque limiting means. The torque limiting means includes a boss formed coaxially with the pulley, a collar disposed integrally and coaxially with the driving shaft, and a coiled spring adapted to hold outer peripheral surfaces of the boss and the collar by tightening with a predetermined tightening allowance. With the torque limiting means, if abnormal loads should be applied to the driving shaft, there hardly occur internal breakages, or the like, in the fluidic apparatus. In addition, because the torque limiting means has such a simple construction, the fluidic apparatus is down-sized and reduced in manufacturing cost.

The valve body has a lid made of magnetic material and a guided member made of nonmagnetic material.
