摘要： A method for creating an enhanced seismic image is described. Seismic data is acquired from a seismic survey conducted over a subterranean region. The seismic data is transformed into energy components, preferably Gaussian beam components. An earth model is created which is comprised of lens elements. The set of energy components is propagated or migrated through the lens elements to form image components which are combined into a seismic image. A target is identified in the seismic image for image enhancement. Ray tracing may be used to select the trial set of lens elements to be updated and to select a subset of energy components. The subset of energy components is propagated through updated earth model to form updated image components. The seismic image is updated by replacing image components with updated image components which are formed from the subset of selected energy components. This subset is ideally greatly reduced in size relative to the overall number of energy components, i.e., beam components.

摘要： A composition of matter is provided having a mixture of active estrogenic compounds. The mixture is present in chemically pure form. The mixture includes salts of conjugated estrone, conjugated equilin, conjugated Δ8,9-dehydroestrone, conjugated 17α-estradiol, conjugated 17α-dihydroequilin, conjugated 17β-dihydroequilin, conjugated 17β-estradiol, conjugated equilenin, conjugated 17α-dihydroequilenin, and conjugated 17β-dihydroequilenin. The mixture also contains the same essential estrogenic compounds present in naturally derived equine conjugated estrogens. Drug products including the composition of matter are also provided, as are methods of using these drug products to treat mammals in need of treatment. Methods of analyzing mixtures containing conjugated estrogens are also provided.

摘要： A method for applying a metal film barrier layer between a substrate and a superconductor coating or over a superconductivity coating using chemical vapor deposition in which low vapor pressure reactants are used, is disclosed, which comprises the steps of providing a substrate and a quantity of metal-bearing reagent and one or more reagents, placing the substrate within the furnace, introducing the metal-bearing reagent by a powder feeder means and then the reagents at different times into and reacting them in the furnace, resulting in the deposition first of a coating of metal onto the substrate and then of a coating consisting essentially of the superconducting reactant components onto the metal film; said reagents generally chosen to yield the group of oxide superconductors.

摘要： An apparatus for selectively jet etching a plastic which is encapsulating an article (i.e., a device, assembly, and the like). This apparatus accomplishes the elimination of the prior art problems and disadvantages by confining the etching to a preselected portion (i.e., the desired region) of the plastic encapsulation, by causing a turbulent flow of the etchant which in turn causes great mechanical agitation of the etchant and thereby results in complete etching of the plastic encapsulant, and by providing a completely closed systemic apparatus which thereby inherently precludes any danger to the personnel using the inventive apparatus.
