    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole inexpensively installable in the middle of an existing pipeline.
      SOLUTION: This manhole is provided for a person to go in and out of the inside of the existing pipeline formed by connecting a plurality of pipe materials 100. The manhole 10 has a pipe part 11 arranged in the middle of the pipeline, and having the almost same outside diametrical dimension as the pipe materials 100, a cylindrical passage part 12 arranged in this pipe part 11, and communicating the inside of the pipe part 11 with an aboveground part, and a pipe joint 13 slidably arranged in the shaft direction of the pipe part 11 on at least one end side outer peripheral surface of the pipe part 11, and connecting the pipe part 11 and the pipe materials 100 adjacent to this pipe part 11. This pipe joint 13 has a joint body, and a waterproof part formed of an elastomer material. This waterproof part comprises a pair of pressing parts for pressing an outer peripheral surface of the pipe materials 100 and the pipe part 11, and a covering part for covering a joining part of the pipe part 11 and the pipe materials 100.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally-drawing drainage system and a cover device for a bridge capable of improving the appearance of the bridge. SOLUTION: A drainage gutter 8 installed onto the underside of an overhanging floor slab 5 has a bottom plate section 8C and inclined wall sections 8D mounted at both side edges of the bottom plate section 8C respectively and engaged with the overhanging floor slab 5. An angle α formed by the inclined wall section 8D and the bottom plate section 8C is an obtuse angle. Since the drainage gutter 8 has an approximately trapezoidal cross section, the corner sections of the gutter 8 are not conspicuous, and the appearance of the underside of the overhanging floor slab 5 is harmonized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining device for a bridge capable of enhancing the bridge's appearance.
      SOLUTION: The draining device comprises a floor slab gutter member 11 mounted on the lower surface of an overhanging floor slab 4; a bridge girder side gutter member 12 mounted on the outer surface of a bridge girder 2; a gutter member 14 for the inside of the bridge gutter which is positioned in a space S formed inside the bridge girder 2; and a connecting gutter member 13 for connecting the gutter member 14 to the gutter member 12 and which is passed through a through hole formed in the outer surface of the bridge girder 2. The amount of gutters exposed to the conspicuous outer surface of the bridge girder 2 is reduced. Thus, with the neat outer surface of the bridge girder, the bridge's appearance is enhanced.
