    • Telecommunications customers must frequently utilize the facilities of many different telecommunications service providers in order to transmit data from one location to another. When a telecommunications customer encounters a network problem, that customer usually must navigate a complicated web of service providers and equipment owners in order to receive meaningful technical assistance from a human technician. The present invention is designed and intended to facilitate human interactions for technical support and administrative tasks by associating customer, contract, circuit, equipment, key personnel, billing, and telco information in a database for efficient data presentation and information retrieval. Resolution of the logistical problem of tracking circuit information is achieved by organizing the information and displaying important data concurrently. Toward that end, the system modules comprising the invention share all of the circuit inventory data available, and graphical user interfaces for each module display relevant information together. Examples of features in the present invention include: simultaneous display of circuit and contact information for key personnel, a reminder function for tracking changes in important service characteristics, and customer-specific formatting for billing

    • A guide (34a) for seat belt webbing (16) in a vehicle (14) includes a support member (50) that includes an elongated slot (88) through which the seat belt webbing (16) extends. A curved surface (90) defines a portion of the elongated slot (88). The guide (34a) also includes an insert (110) that is adapted to be received in the elongated slot (88) of the support member (50) and that includes a webbing guide portion (112) for guiding the seat belt webbing (16) through the elongated slot (88). The webbing guide portion (112), during normal operating conditions, is spaced apart from the curved surface (90) of the support member (50). The webbing guide portion (112) of the insert (110), when subjected to a load from the seat belt webbing (16) that exceeds a predetermined amount, moves into engagement with and conforms to the curved surface (90) of the support member (50).

    • Systems and methods for handling sheet material, for example, signatures or inserts, are provided. Individual systems and methods for loading and jogging stacks of sheet material are combined with systems and methods for transferring sheet material whereby the mishandling or misfeeding of sheet material is minimized or reduced. The loading and jogging aspects are characterized by pivotally mounted receptacles or bins that facilitate introducing sheet material to a conveyor. The transferring aspects include automated transfer devices adapted to grip and position stacks of sheet material, for example, into a hopper feeding a disk feeder. These automated systems and their combination minimizes or prevents the mishandling of sheet material whereby the processing of sheet material is enhanced compared to conventional systems and methods.
