    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe coupler capable of removing a fastening nut and a ferrule from an existing pipe, inserting the fastening nut and the ferrule in a new pipe and repeatedly using them.
      SOLUTION: This pipe coupler comprises a coupler body 1, a fastening nut 3 outerly screwed with a pipe receiving port 2 of the fitting body 1, and a plurality of ferrules 5-7 outerly fitted with a pipe 4 inserted in the pipe receiving port 2 and pressed and moved toward the pipe receiving port 2 by the fastening nut 3. The plurality of ferrules include a front ferrule 5, a rear ferrule 6, and an intermediate ferrule 7 arranged between them. The intermediate ferrule 7 is pressed forward via the rear ferrule 6 by fastening the fastening nut 3, so that the front ferrule 5 is press-fit between an inner face of the pipe receiving port 2 and an outer face of the pipe 4 of the coupler body 1 for hermetic sealing. The intermediate ferrule is reduced in diameter to hold the pipe 4 not to be detached, and is recovered in diameter to cancel the holding of the pipe 4 when loosening the fastening nut 3.
