摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for preventing contamination and safely, efficiently and surely removing the spinal marrow. SOLUTION: A spinal marrow suction tube 1 is inserted from the head side in a vertebral canal of a meat body to carry out suction through a coupling 2 with a vacuum pump 3 and the spinal marrow is recovered into an exchangeable recovery bag 4 provided on the discharge side of the vacuum pump. On the other hand, water or warm water is supplied from a water tank 5 set at the same height as the spinal marrow suction port or below through a water tank valve 6, passed from a water tube 7 through a single-action joint 8 and supplied to the coupling so as to simultaneously feed the water or warm water in an amount nearly equal to that of the sucked spinal marrow from the tip of the spinal marrow suction tube. When the water in the water tank is insufficient, the amount of the insufficiency is supplemented from water supply 9 through a ball tap 10.
