    • A portable wireless communication terminal device has a data communications function and a telephone function and includes a casing, a display having a display section exposed through an opening of the casing, a circuit board installed in the casing and having the display on one surface of the circuit board, a first antenna electrically connected to the circuit board and disposed on an opposite side to the display inside the casing, and a second antenna electrically connected to the circuit board and mounted on a periphery of the display inside the casing.     • An antenna device and a mobile radio communication terminal adapted for improving the performance of an antenna. The antenna device includes a radio circuit for transmitting and receiving a high-frequency signal, a notch antenna having a feeder, and a notch antenna operating through electromagnetic coupling with the notch antenna, and a substrate independent of the radio circuit with respect to high frequencies. The notch antenna includes a linear slit having a length of λ/4 and cut from one edge of the substrate on the reverse side to the position of the radio circuit. The notch antenna includes a linear slit having a length slightly shorter than λ/4 and cut in parallel with the notch antenna from the same edge thereof at a position spaced apart by a predetermined distance d from the notch antenna.

    • The present invention makes it possible to realize an antenna device and a portable radio set capable of greatly reducing the deterioration of antenna characteristics while used near a human body and greatly reducing the deterioration of communication quality by electrically connecting first and second antenna elements to a balanced-to-unbalanced transform circuit by connection means when a first antenna element is retracted, supplying power to the first and second antenna elements from an unbalanced transmission line through balanced-to-unbalanced transform means to operate the first and second antenna elements as antennas, preventing a leakage current from flowing to a ground member to which the unbalanced transmission line is grounded from the first and second antenna elements through the transmission in accordance with the balanced-to-unbalancecd transform by the balanced-to-unbalanced transform means, and thereby preventing the ground member from operating as an antenna.

    • An antenna device includes a flat ground conductor; a first flat radiation conductor disposed against the flat ground conductor interposing a first dielectric layer; a first short-circuit conductor connecting an end of the first flat radiation conductor and the flat ground conductor; a second flat radiation conductor disposed partly against an opposite side of the first flat radiation conductor with its other side facing the ground conductor interposing a second dielectric layer; a second short-circuit conductor connecting an end of the second flat radiation conductor and the flat ground conductor; and a supply point disposed on the first flat radiation conductor. With this structure, the first flat radiation conductor and the second flat radiation conductor are disposed partly against each other, which enables more size reduction than that of conventional antennas operating at the same resonant frequency.
