摘要： A server system may include a request handler and a database generator. The request handler may receive at least one request from a mobile client device on a user side or from a source server. If the request handler determines that the at least one request requires an initialization of a first mobile database in the mobile client device on the user, the database generator may generate a second mobile database in the server system populated with corresponding requested data from the source server, and the request handler may transmit the second mobile database with the corresponding requested data as a file to the mobile client device. The file of the second mobile database may be stored on the mobile client device as the first mobile database.

摘要： A security screening system to determine if an item of luggage carries an object posing a security threat. The security screening system may comprise an input for receiving image data derived from an apparatus that subjects the item of luggage to penetrating radiation, the image data conveying an image of the item of luggage. The security screening system may also comprise a processing module for processing the image data to identify in the image a plurality of regions of interest, the regions of interest manifesting a higher probability of depicting an object posing a security threat than portions of the image outside the regions of interest. The processing module may comprise: a first processing entity for processing a first one of the regions of interest to ascertain if the first region of interest depicts an object posing a security threat; and a second processing entity for processing a second one of the regions of interest to ascertain if the second region of interest depicts an object posing a security threat. The processing of the first and second regions of interest by the first and second processing entity occurs in parallel. Different processing entities may also be used to process in parallel different sets of entries a reference database to determine if an item of luggage carries an object posing a security threat.

摘要： An apparatus for performing a security screening operation on receptacles to detect presence of one or more prohibited objects in the receptacles. The apparatus may comprise an input for receiving image data conveying an image of contents of a receptacle, the image data being derived from a device that scans the receptacle with penetrating radiation. The apparatus may also comprise a processing unit for determining whether the image depicts at least one prohibited object. The apparatus may also comprise a graphical user interface (GUI) for displaying a representation of the contents of the receptacle on a basis of the image data. The GUI may also display a representation of the contents of each of one or more receptacles previously screened by the apparatus. When a detection of depiction of at least one prohibited object is made, the GUI may display information conveying a level of confidence in the detection. The GUI may also provide at least one control allowing a user to select whether or not the GUI is to highlight on the representation of the contents of the receptacle a location of each of at least one prohibited object deemed to be depicted in the image.

摘要： An apparatus and method for implementing a user interface module for use in screening a receptacle to detect therein the presence of one or more prohibited objects is provided. An image signal associated with the receptacle conveying information related to the receptacle's contents and a detection signal conveying a presence of at least one prohibited object in the receptacle are received. A user interface module is adapted for displaying first information conveying an image associated with the receptacle on the basis of the image signal. The user interface module is also adapted for displaying, simultaneously with the first information, second information conveying the presence of the prohibited object in the receptacle. The second information is derived at least in part on the basis of the detection signal. As a variant, the user interface module is adapted for providing a control allowing a user to cause third information to be displayed. The third information conveys at least one characteristic associated to the prohibited object. Alternative implementations of the user interface module may be made for use in screening a person to detect thereon the presence of one or more prohibited objects.
