摘要： A parallel flow filter-in-filter design for a filter system is provided. The filter-in-filter design provides two distinctly parallel or independent flow paths within a filter assembly in a single housing or shell. The filter assembly includes a first outer filter element radially spaced apart from a second inner filter element. A centertube and a funnel shaped passageway housed within the centertube are provided in a space between the first outer filter element and the second inner filter element. The centertube and funnel shaped passageway work in tandem to provide two distinct parallel or independent flow paths within the filter assembly. The funnel shaped passageway is provided generally below the second inner filter element within the centertube.

The valve can include a hole that receives the pin therein to help stabilize the valve when the valve is actuated open.

摘要： A priming pump for fluid delivery arranged with a base defining a flow inlet, a flow outlet, and a control valve positioned therebetween. The priming pump includes a housing assembled to the base with an inlet flow valve positioned in an inlet valve compartment and an outlet flow valve positioned in an outlet valve compartment. The valve compartments are in communication with a plunger chamber including an axially movable plunger. A spring-biased control knob is assembled to the plunger and to the control valve for controlling its position between either a direct-flow orientation or a by-pass orientation. With the control valve in the by-pass orientation, upward movement of the control knob draws fluid into the inlet valve compartment and into the plunger chamber. The down stroke of the control knob pushes the fluid out of the plunger chamber.

The volatile memory array (22) may also be subdivided into multiple banks, and is smaller than the nonvolatile memory array (32). A transfer circuit (40) transfers the contents of a bank of nonvolatile memory array (32) into a bank of volatile memory array (22) before the data can be accessed by a processor (160). In addition, a preload decision logic circuit (180) may transfer a bank of nonvolatile memory array (32) into volatile memory array (22) invisibly to the processor (160), to have the data available when needed, thus avoiding a space fault. Coupling a smaller volatile memory array (22) to a nonvolatile memory array (32) combines the advantages of faster access times and nonvolatility without greatly increasing the size of the memory (20).

According to one implementation of these techniques, a first node can receive a message from at least one of the other nodes. Each message includes a number of primary factors associated with a particular node regarding capabilities of the particular node. The primary factors associated with each node can then be evaluated, and an attempt can be made to select the root node based on the primary factors associated with each node. If the first node is unable to select the root node based on the primary factors associated with each node, then the root node can be selected based on secondary factors associated with each node.
