摘要： An automated banking machine operates responsive to data read from data bearing records, such as user cards, to cause machine user authorization and financial transfers. Account data read from a user card is associated in a data store with instructions for displaying a customer interface uniquely associated with the particular bank where the user holds the account. The customer interface includes user-selectable financial transaction options. The arrangement enables the customer interface of the user's home bank, with which the user is familiar, to also be automatically displayed when the user operates automated banking machines of other banks.

The automated banking machine may be operative to provide an electronic transaction receipt from the banking machine. A bank host computer may be operable to submit the receipt to a system address of record with the bank. The address of record may correspond to an e-mail address, phone number or other address associated with an account involved in the transaction. The receipt may include an image or images associated with the transaction and may be sent to a user of a banking machine. The system may also operate to image deposited checks deposited at a banking machine and may be electronically sent to a maker, payee, or clearinghouse.

摘要： A banking transaction system includes customer stations and a server provider station. The customer stations include automated banking machines. Each machine includes a cash dispenser and a card reader that reads financial account indicia from user cards. A service provider at the service provider station is able to communicate with a customer at a machine to help carry out a banking transaction. The customer may also carry out a banking transaction without involvement of the service provider. A pneumatic tube transport can move items between a service provider and customers. Computers operating facial image transformation software and vocal sound transformation software allow computer-generated outputs at customer stations of facial images and vocal sounds that customers may find more acceptable than those produced by the actual service provider.
