    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical infusion tube illuminating device, using a light source having high luminance and protecting an operator from danger even during operation in the dark with the pupils opened. SOLUTION: This medical infusion tube illuminating device includes: an infusion tube holder 7 formed of a pair of holding pieces 5, 6 which hold an infusion tube 2, and confront each other orthogonal to the axis 3 of the infusion tube 2, and to which elastic force is applied in the mutual mating direction; a light emitting body 11 provided on one holding piece 6 and radiates light beams toward the other holding piece 5 with the normals of the opposite surfaces 5a, 6a of the confronting holding pieces 5, 6 as the optical axis 10 and with the normals substantially orthogonal to the axis 3 of the infusion tube 2; a spectral body 14 provided in front of the light emitting body 11 in the same holding piece 6 as the light emitting body 11 to make the central part 12 where the optical axis 10 of the light emitting body 11 straightness and make the outer peripheral part scattering; a polarizing surface 17 provided on the holding piece 5 in the light radiating direction of the light emitting body 11 to cause irregular reflection of the beams passed through the straightness part of the spectral body 14; and a power supply for lighting the light emitting body.     • Systems and methods are disclosed for forming stacked substrates with data storage arrays formed on each substrate in an air-tight chamber in which an inert gas is admittable and exhaustible; a pair of target plates placed at opposite ends of said air-tight chamber respectively so as to face each other and form a plasma region therebetween; a pair of magnets respectively disposed adjacent to said target plates such that magnet poles of different polarities face each other across said plasma region thereby to establish a magnetic field of said plasma region between said target plates; a substrate holder disposed adjacent to said plasma region, said substrate holder adapted to hold a substrate on which an alloyed thin film is to be deposited; and a back-bias power supply coupled to the substrate holder, wherein the chamber temperature is maintained at 380 degrees Celsius or less, a back-bias voltage greater than 80 volts, and an oxygen flow of at least 17%.
