    • PURPOSE:To detect a surface layer defect and an internal defect with high accuracy by moving a detection part along the surface of a body to be inspected while magnetizing the body to be inspected, and sensing leak magnetic flux produced nearby the body to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:A yoke 21 is mounted on the body 41 to be inspected through rollers 23 and the coils 22 of magnetization parts 20 are fed with electricity to magnetize the body 41 to be inspected; and the light from the light emitting element 31 of a processing part 30 is made incident on the polarizer 11 of a detection part 10 through an optical fiber 40 and the yoke 21 is moved on the surface of the body 41 to be inspected. Here, if the body 14 to be inspected has a defect in its surface or internally, leak magnetic flux is produced on the surface, so a magnetooptical element 13 has Faraday effect and the intensity of the transmitted light of the element 13 varies in proportion to the intensity of the magnetic field. For the purpose, the output of an analyzer 14 is sent to a photodetecting element 32 through the optical fiber 40 and converted into an electric signal, which is inputted to a computing element 34 through an amplifier 33 to calculate the magnetic field value, thereby detecting the defect of the body 41.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the comfortability for a usage feeling and the cleanness of a toilet bowl by enabling inexpensive production and easy installation by providing a water drainage part in a water tank. SOLUTION: Concerning the buttock washer having a water tank 1 provided with a water drainage part 2, the fence-shaped water drainage part 2 is provided for removing excess water contained in toilet paper. Since water in the water tank 1 is gradually decreased by immersing the toilet paper in it or by natural evaporation, it is necessary to replenish water into the water tank 1. Then, water is previously put into the water tank 1 of the buttock washer and installed in the toilet. After evacuation, the suitable quantity of toilet paper is immersed in the water in the water tank 1 and the excess water is removed by the water drainage part 2 later. Then, the anus is washed by that toilet paper containing water. After the anus is sufficiently washed, water stuck on the anus is swept away by suitable quantity of toilet paper containing no water, and processing is finished.

    • PURPOSE:To certainly detect not only a large flaw such as a cast void but also a film flaw such as a pinhole by preliminarily allowing an inspection liquid in a flaw and dicoloring a developing film by the inspection liquid remaining in the flaw. CONSTITUTION:The surface 3 to be inspected of a denture base 1 is washed with a washing solution to remove a substance obstructing the penetration of an inspection liquid into a pinhole 2 or making the removal of the excessive inspection liquid difficult. Next, the inspection liquid 3 is adhered to the washed surface 3 to be inspected to be allowed to penetrate into the pinhole 2. The inspection liquid 3 remaining on the surface 3 to be inspected is removed so that the inspection liquid 4 remains only in the pinhole 2. A developing solution is applied to the surface 3 to be inspected from which the excessive inspection liquid is removed to form a developing film 5 on the surface 3 to be inspected. The developing film 5 sucks up the inspection liquid 4 in the pinhole 4 by a capillary phenomenon and the part of the pinhole 2 is developed to discolor. The presence of the pinhole 2 can be visually known simply by the discolored part formed to the developing film 5.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the defect of a long material highly accurately at stable detecting sensitivity by providing a magnetizing unit, a magnetooptic effect element, a light projecting means, a light receiving means and recording means. CONSTITUTION:An inspecting apparatus is provided with a detecting unit 10, a magnetizing unit 20 which magnetizes a moving long plate 3 and a processing unit 30 which amplifies and processes the signal. Natural light which is generated from a light emitting element 31 provided in the unit 30 is inputted into a polarizer 11 in the detecting unit 10. The linearly polarized light is inputted into a magnetooptic effect element 13 through a pi/4 optical rotator 12. An analyzer 14 takes out only the vertical component of the light whose polarizing plane is rotated. The output of the analyzer 14 is sent into a photodetector 32 of the unit 30 and transduced into an electric signal. The signal is amplified 33. An operator 34 analyzes the signal and transduces the signal into the value of a magnetic field. The output signal of the operator 34 is outputted to a CRT display device 35 and a recorder 36, and the result of the inspection can be confirmed and recorded. In this way, the entire width of the long plate 3 is covered with the unit 10, and the leaking magnetic flux caused by the defect of the plate can be detected.
