    • The invention relates to a locking device (1) for a steering spindle, which comprises a locking bolt arrangement (11), a control element (17) and a sensor arrangement (24 - 28). The control element (17) is coupled to the locking bolt arrangement (11) via guiding devices (19), such that said locking bolt arrangement (11) can be displaced by rotating the control element (17) between a locking position and a release position. Said locking bolt arrangement blocks a rotation of the steering spindle in the locking position. The sensor arrangement is used to detect the release position of the locking bolt arrangement and at least one predetermined rotational position of the control element and comprises a first permanent magnet (24) whereon the locking bolt arrangement (11) is secured and is arranged in a first coupling position in relation to a first hall sensor (25) when the release position is reached, and a second permanent magnet (26) which is coupled to the control element (17) in such a manner that it adapts to a second coupling position in relation to a second hall-sensor (27) when a predetermined rotational position of the control element (17) is reached.
