    • An electon-optical device comprises a magnetic circuit (1) which is shaped as a closed coil and is made of a ferromagnetic material having a good magnetic permeability, the magnetic circuit (1) including an internal core (2), an external lateral part (3) and butt-end jaws (4, 5). The inner hollow of the magnetic circuit (1) houses an exciting winding (13) which encircles the internal core (2) and which is common for all the electromagnetic lenses of the device. The inner core (2) of the magnetic circuit (1), being also common for all the electromagnetic lenses of the device, is shaped as an elongated hollow cylinder provided with annular grooves (16) on its outer surface. The annular grooves (16), together with the adjacent parts of the inner core (2) placed on both sides of each of the annular grooves (16), are forming the poles of the electromagnetic lenses, the number of which is equal to that of the electromagnetic lenses in the device.

    • An electron microscope comprises a carcass (1) and, mounted horizontally therein, an electron-optical column (3) containing an electron gun (4), electron-magnetic lenses and provided with a sample chamber (5). The electron-optical column (3) is fixed in the carcass (1) by means of shock absorbing devices, each of them being executed as a small-sized ring-shaped spring (11) the plane of its ring being vertically oriented. Each of the ring-shaped springs (11) is connected, through its upper part, to the carcass (1) by means of a coupling element (12) and through its lower part - to the electron-optical column (3) by means of a bandage element (13) executed as a strip partially embracing that column from below. Each of the ring-shaped springs (11) is further connected, through its lateral part, to the carcass (1) by means of fixing plates (14) and (15) connected to each other so that the lateral parts of the ring-shaped spring (11) are clamped between those plates through damping cushions (17), one of the fixing plates being an element of the carcass (1), namely its lateral wall.

    • A sample chamber comprises a sealed casing (1) housing a movable table (2) for a test sample (3) and driving mechanisms of displacing the table along three perpendicular axes, one of them coinciding with the electron-optical axis of the electron-sounding instrument, and for inclination of the table (2) in relation to that electron-optical axis. The driving mechanism for displacing the table (2) along the electron-optical axis comprises an eccentric pusher (69) provided with a hollow finger (70) fixed to a shaft (65) and housing a plunger (72) which is loaded at its end facing the shaft (65) with a spring (73) whereas an axis (75) is firmly fixed to its other end and carries a rotatable roller (74) being in a permanent mechanical contact with the walls of a slot (76) made in the base of a trolley (5) connected with the table (2). The trolley (5) is movable between two extreme positions along guides (17) and (54) which are parallel to the electron-optical axis and is provided with stops of those positions. The guides (17) and (54) are mounted in a box-like frame (6) movable inside the casing (1) along another coordinate axis.
