摘要： A process of preparing ~-biopterin is disclosed which comprises the steps of: Subjecting to selective Grignard reaction D-ribose having the hydroxyl groups in the 2- and 3-positions protected by an acetal group to give 6-deoxy-3,4-O-alkylidene allitol; subjecting the 1- and 2-positions of said allitol to oxidative cleavage to form 5-deoxy-2,3-O-alkylidene-L-ribose followed by deacetalization to give 5-deoxy-L-ribose; reacting 5-deoxy-L-ribose with a hydrazine compound to form a 5-deoxy-L-ribose hydrazone compound; and subjecting said hydrazone compound to condensation reaction with an acid addition salt of 4-hydroxy-2,5,6-triaminopyrimidine followed by oxidation.

The resin composition can be stably shaped for a long time by extrusion.

摘要： A method of heat-treating a metal film for use as a resistor and the resulting product. The method involves heating the film in an oxidizing atmosphere for forming a protective oxide film on the metal film, removing adsorbed foreign elements therefrom, and changing the crystal structure thereof, and for a time sufficient to change the initial temperature coefficient of resistance to a desired value. The temperature for the heating when the coefficient is to be changed in the positive direction is a temperature in the range between the first and second critical temperature for heat treating in and above the third critical temperature. When the coefficient is to be changed in the negative direction, the temperature is between the second and the third critical temperatures for heat treating in air.

摘要： A paper handing apparatus having a plurality of bins, a chuck unit and a stapler unit movable up and down along the bins, and a sorting unit. The sorting unit distributes a number of paper sheets received from a copier or similar image forming apparatus to the bins, while the stapler unit binds an end potion of each of the stacks of paper sheets loaded in the individual bins. The stapler is movable between and lockable at a position for binding a paper stack and a position for supplying staples. The stapler unit is removable from the sorting unit. Doors such as a stapler door are provided on the housing of the apparatus. When a door other than the stapler door is opened when the stapler is performing a stapling operation, the stapling operation is continued until it completes.
