    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water shielding device for building, which can be easily assembled and is capable of effectively preventing intrusion of water.SOLUTION: A water shielding device is composed of two lateral columns and a plurality of impervious plates. A coupling groove is provided on one side of the lateral column, a waterproof rod member and a pressing member are provided in the coupling groove, a plurality of screw holes extending up to the coupling groove are provided on the inside end surface of the lateral column, and bolts shanks are screwed into the screw holes. The impervious plate is fitted into the coupling groove of the lateral column and arranged between the waterproof rod member and the pressing member, a protruding fitting part is provided above the impervious plate, and a recessed groove is provided in the lower bottom part of the impervious plate. Thus, the plurality of impervious plates form an impervious wall of a predetermined height by fitting the fitting parts and the recessed grooves with each other respectively, and the pressing member and the waterproof rod member are brought into close contact with the impervious plates by turning each of the bolt shanks.
