摘要： A die for roll forming threads on a cylindrical blank comprises, a generally planar die body having a longitudinally elongate working face of sufficient length for the blank to make multiple revolutions across said face. A plurality of spaced apart thread forming elements (17) on the face extend from a start end (14) where thread formation commences to finish end (16) where thread formation is complete. The thread forming elements are spaced apart longitudinally of the die working face an ever increasing distance (P R ), based on the actual rolling diameter of the blank with the spacing between the thread forming elements at the start end (14) equal to the diameter of the blank and the spacing between said thread forming elements at said finish end (16) equal to eighty-five percent of the final diameter of the thread formed on the blank. The thread forming elements on the working face of said die are equally spaced apart (Pa) in a direction perpendicular to said longitudinal extent of said working face. A method of making a threaded fastener from a cylindrical blank utilizes rolling dies in accordance with the disclosure.

A plurality of rows of deformations formed as teeth are formed in the shank extending outwardly of the shank. The rows of teeth are formed parallel to one another and formed at an angle of at least 50 degrees relative to a cross-sectional plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the nail.

The outer shell is configured to protect said inner shell from moisture. The assembly may also include at least one moisture catching ledge surrounding the air passage. The moisture catching ledge is configured to trap moisture that passes by the membrane flap.

The invention also includes a hammer (16) that repositions when a g-force is applied to the latch to stop the movement of the track body thus preventing the latch from opening during a g-force situation such as a vehicle crash.
