    • One embodiment of the present invention relates to a positioning device of a mobile communication terminal, a method for constructing wireless LAN information of the device, a positioning server of the mobile communication terminal, and a method for driving the server, wherein: mobility of an access point is determined by using the provided positioning information relative to a positioning request of the mobile communication terminal; and wireless LAN information which is prestored in a wireless LAN server is updated on the basis of a stationary access point, so that the updated information is used when a positioning service of the mobile communication terminal is provided. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the positioning device of the mobile communication terminal comprises: an access point which performs near field communication with the mobile communication terminal; a node information-based server which manages wireless environment information for a node that controls communication of said mobile communication terminal; a wireless LAN server which has a database for storing wireless LAN information on said access point; and a positioning server which calculates a distance between said access point and said node or a distance between said access point and said mobile communication terminal by using the positioning information, which is received in a request for the positioning to said mobile communication terminal, said wireless LAN information, and said wireless environment information, and determines that the said access point has a mobile type if said calculated distance is a certain distance or more such that the access point is removed from said database, and then provides the result of the positioning on the basis of a stationary access point stored in said database when a positioning service is provided.

    • An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for measuring position using a positioning access point, and to a device, system, and access point for same. The system for measuring position includes: a positioning access point for transmitting a wireless LAN signal which includes information exclusive to positioning, and a communication access point for transmitting a wireless LAN signal for communication; a database storing the identification information of the access point and the position information of the access point that matches with the identification information; a terminal communicating with the access point; and a radio LAN based positioning server for giving the highest priority to the position information of a corresponding access point, wherein the position of the terminal is determined if there is corresponding information after first comparing the parameter of the wireless LAN signal received from the terminal to the identification information of the positioning access point upon the request for measuring position from the terminal. According to the embodiment of the present invention, a wireless LAN network having an additional positioning access point installed therein is established so that the same is not affected by a change in the radio environment and by an exclusive line according to the amount of traffic. As a result, a positioning service having high accuracy may be stably provided in a coverage area set by the operator.

The embodiment of the present invention provides a positioning error discrimination device comprising: a database which matches grid cells, which are divided according to each pCell ID, with wireless LAN environment information, and stores the matched information; an information receiving unit which receives terminal wireless LAN environment information from a mobile communication terminal;an identification information confirmation unit which confirms AP identification information contained in said terminal wireless LAN environment information; a triangulation unit which calculates a triangulation coordinate value obtained by performing triangulation with AP location estimation information corresponding to said AP identification information; a grid cell positioning unit which selects a grid cell corresponding to said AP identification information, and calculates a grid cell coordinate value on the basis of a coordinate value corresponding to said selected grid cell; and an error discrimination unit which compares said triangulation coordinate value with said grid cell coordinate value, and discriminates whether a positioning error is generated relative to either said triangulation coordinate value or said grid cell coordinate value. According to the embodiment of the present invention, positioning accuracy is improved and the quality of experience as perceived by a customer is enhanced through mutual comparison between a triangulation method and a pCell method.
