    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction structure improving the digging efficiency for Chinese yam by securing a distance necessary for digging the Chinese yam as a longer root vegetable while enabling the turnabout of a harvester within a space in a farming field as it is and also always positioning a conveyor within the space.
      SOLUTION: The traction structure is such that a digging section and a conveyor are joined to each other in a planarly turnable manner. The harvester 1 includes the digging section 2 for digging up longer root vegetables and the conveyor 5 for harvesting the longer root vegetables thus dug located behind the digging section 2. The digging section 2 functions to dig longer root vegetables as a tractor A advances under traction parallel to the advancing direction of the tractor A, wherein the digging direction of a digging blade for digging longer root vegetables is parallel to the advancing direction of the tractor A. The conveyor 5 is integratedly joined to a joining rod adjoining in parallel to the digging direction of the digging section and equipped with wheels for steering the conveyor so as to be capable of turnabout. Thus, this traction structure is such that the forefront portion of the junction is joined to the tractor or a junction part provided on the digging section in a planarly turnable manner.

      SOLUTION: The harvester is provided with a conveyer 2 on the downstream of a digging/harvesting part 1, the conveyer 2 comprises a lower conveyer 3 receiving and conveying Chinese yams N dug up by the digging/harvesting part 1, an upper conveyer 4 installed on a higher position than the lower conveyer 3 and the height at which an operator is capable of picking up the Chinese yams without changing his posture and an elevating conveyer 5 conveying the Chinese yams N from the lower conveyer 3 to the upper conveyer 4 without damaging the yam.
