    • A structure for attaching a brake fluid pressure generator to a vehicle. The brake fluid pressure generator is attached to a dash panel provided at the rear side of a damper housing, which divides a compartment of a vehicle into a cabin and an engine room. An installation hole, through which the brake fluid pressure generator is inserted, is formed on the dash panel to one side of the engine. A mounter, which accommodates at least part of the brake fluid pressure generator, is used for detachably attaching the brake fluid pressure generator to the dash panel from the cabin side. Thereby, part of the brake fluid pressure generator is positioned at the rear side of the dash panel, and the outline of the brake fluid pressure generator is positioned so that it might overlap the damper housing when viewed from the fore side direction with respect to the vehicle.

    • A record and playback system comprises a signal source such as a video camera, a recording apparatus such as a VTR, and a control circuit device connected between the signal source and the recording apparatus. The control circuit device sends one or a few frames selected from a plurality of still picture frames to the successive frames of a composite picture signal given from the signal source to the recording apparatus, as well as sends a signal showing the total time length of a number of still picture frames. As a result, it is possible to record much and various picture information on a small volume of a record medium.

    • A magnetic tape cassette apparatus is disclosed which has a pair of electromagnetic data transducers mounted to a rotary drum to make up a rotary head assembly for data transfer with the magnetic tape. For electrically connecting each transducer to a recording amplifier circuit and a reproducing amplifier circuit, a transformer is employed which comprises a rotary winding mounted to the rotary drum, and two fixed windings electromagnetically coupled to the rotary winding. The two fixed windings are connected respectively to the recording amplifier circuit and the reproducing amplifier circuit. In another embodiment the transformer comprises one rotary winding and one center tapped fixed winding. The two sections of the fixed winding, electrically divided by the center tap, are connected respectively to the recording amplifier circuit and to the reproducing amplifier circuit.

    • A video tape recorder having provisions for erasing a desired fraction of each frame of a composite picture signal on a magnetic tape and for recording substitute picture information on the erased fractions, thereby making it possible to split the screen into two windows for the simultaneous display of different images. Included is a window size input device to be operated upon by the user for specifying a desired fraction of each frame of the composite picture signal recorded on the tape. A frame fraction signal generator circuit responds to the output from the window size input device, as well as to horizontal and vertical sync pulses derived from the composite picture signal being reconstructed from the tape, for generating a frame fraction signal indicative in real time of the specified fraction of each frame of the composite picture signal to be erased from the tape. A mode-setting circuit responds to the frame fraction signal for connecting an erase oscillator to a pair of video transducers thereby causing erasure of the specified fraction of each frame of the composite picture signal on the tape. The mode-setting circuit also responds to the frame fraction signal for permitting substitute picture information to be recorded at the erased fractions of the prerecorded picture signal on the tape.
