    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stripping off device capable of performing abdominal fat-stripping off work in a meat-processing process easily in a short time in a state of hanging a slaughtered body after performing a back-splitting process.
      SOLUTION: This stripping off device is provided by mounting an air-cylinder 2 on a guide rail 3, and a wire-guiding roller 1 at its tip end. By actuating the air-cylinder 2 with a foot switch 14 to move the wire-guiding roller 1 front and rear, a hanging metal tool 7 at a tip end is moved up and down from a wire-stopping metal tool 4 at the upper part of the air-cylinder 2 through the wire-guiding roller 1 and further to a pulley 5. Air-cylinders 10, 11 each attached with a nipping upper plate 8 and a nipping lower plate 9 are mounted at the both tip ends of the hanging metal tool 7, and by actuating them with foot switches 12, 13, the abdominal fat is caught by the nipping upper plate 8 and the nipping lower plate 9 and is stripped off by lifting up the hanging metal tool 7 with the foot switch 14.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator of red meat from spines of a backbone, capable of improving cooling efficiency so as to uniformly cool the meat, by separating the red meat from the spines prior to a halving operation conducted in a process of meat processing, capable of keeping freshness of the meat due to enhancement of water-holding ability, capable of improving productivity, capable of easily conducting the halving operation, without requiring skillfulness, and capable of being utilized as a measure against mad cow disease.
      SOLUTION: This separator of the red meat from spines of the backbone of a slaughtered body is so structured that a guide roller 1 on which an air cylinder 3 for conducting vertical movement is mounted is attached to a guide rail 2 which runs parallel with a rail for hanging the slaughtered body. A knife guiding roller 4 is mounted on a tip of the air cylinder 3, and a knife box 9 equipped with a cutting knife 6 and another cutting knife 7 the each of which is back and forth moved by another air cylinder 8 is attached to a bottom area of the knife guiding roller 4. Fastening screws 14 for fastening the cutting knives 6, 7, adjusting screws 12 for adjusting an interval between the knives, and springs 13 for preventing edges of the knives from separating from each other are attached to the knife box 9, respectively.
