    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a farming/gardening support used for inducing vine plants and supporting unstable plants, and excellent in strength.
      SOLUTION: The farming/gardening support has a basic structure as follows: a coating layer 2 comprising thermoplastic synthetic resin material is formed at the surface of a metal pipe 1; and water-tight caps 3, 4 are attached to both of upper and lower ends of the metal pipe. In the farming/gardening support, both or either of the upper and/or lower caps 3, 4 are/is made of rigid synthetic resin material such as rigid polyethylene, wherein the caps are formed so as to have steps including thick-diameter parts 3a, 4a and thin-diameter parts 3b, 4b, the metal pipe 1 is fitted to and inserted into the thin-diameter part by insertion and locked by a locking means in a fitted condition, and thereafter the coating layer 2 is formed on the surface of the metal pipe 1. Projecting parts 5 are formed so that part of the metal pipe is pressed into the surface of the thin-diameter parts of the caps 3, 4 like impact traces made by a punch from the outer surface of the metal pipe 1 inserted as the locking means at the thin-diameter parts 3b, 4d which are pressed into the surface of the thin-diameter parts of the caps 3, 4, and the coating layer 2 may be formed on the outer surface of the projecting part.

    • An electric power tool “A” operates a working part 5 by repeating rotation of a motor 4 in a normal direction and in a reverse direction one or more times.     • An improved flow control mechanism for a tilt and trim adjustment system quickens tilt and trim operations of an associated outboard drive. The flow control mechanism includes a bypass line that interconnects the two sides of a respective tilt and trim cylinder. A bypass valve regulates flow through the bypass line. The bypass valve opens the bypass line when raising the outboard drive to quicken this operation. When lowering the outboard drive, however, the bypass valve closes the bypass line and connects an up chamber of the cylinder to a suction side of the pump to slow the speed at which the tilt and trim adjustment system lowers the outboard drive. The flow control mechanism also inhibits the flow of working fluid through the system when the pump is inactive.
