    • A combination bearing construction capable of withstanding high-speed rotation and having a high accuracy of rotation is provided. The combination bearing construction comprises a first bearing means, a second bearing means, a third bearing means and a fourth bearing means. The first bearing means bears impulsive forces in a radial direction, which impulsive forces are exerted on a rotary body during rotation, and comprises an inner race (1) and an outer ring (2) which are formed of a silicon nitride based ceramic sintered body. The second bearing means bears a load in an axial direction with a predetermined gap maintained between it and the rotary body, which load is exerted on the rotary body, and is constituted by a magnetic bearing body which comprises two permanent magnets (12, 13) opposing each other in a thrust direction. The third bearing means serves to maintain an accuracy of rotation in a radial direction of the rotary body, and comprises radial dynamic pressure generating grooves (5) formed on a cylindrical surface of the inner race (1). The fourth bearing means serves to maintain an accuracy of rotation in a thrust direction of the rotary body, and comprises an air reservoir (100) confined in a semi-closed condition by the inner race (1), outer ring (2) and a cover (4).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil which uses ink and is long in life with no dripping.
      SOLUTION: This writing utensil comprises (1) pen points 101, (2) a hollow cylinder 110 having a pen point mounting part 102 on which the pen points 101 are mounted at one end on the apex side (3) a piston 120 which slides airtightly in order to divide the interior of the hollow cylinder 110 into two spaces A and B, (4) a through hole 121a which allows the piston 120 to pierce through the hollow cylinder 110 axially, (5) a valve seat 121b formed on the opposite side to the pen point mounting part 102 of the through hole 121a and (6) a holder which moves a valve body 131 capable of coming into contact with and separates from the valve seat 121b and the piston 120 to the opposite direction to the pressing direction of the valve body 131. On the other hand, the writing utensil comprises (1) a rod 130 which airtightly projects from the hollow cylinder 110 to the outside on the rear end side and freely proceeds and recedes in the axial direction and (2) valve drive means 142 and 151 which keep the valve closed by the valve body 131 pressure-contacting with a valve seat 121b and, keep the valve in an opened state while separating the valve body 131 from the valve seat 121b.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled adhesive which has a high bond strength, a short curing time and excellent resistance to heat and chemicals and is suitable for use in a high-temperature atmosphere, containing a linear colloid backbone composed of silicon oxide and titanium oxide as the main structure. CONSTITUTION:The titled adhesive contains a linear colloid backbone of silicon oxide and titanium oxide as the main structure corresponding to the colloid length of a tetramer or a pentamer of an orthosilicate of the formula obtd. by mixing a monooxide of a bivalent metal such as magnesium oxide or zinc oxide with an alcoholic soln. of a partially hydrolyzed alkyl silicate and titanium oxide. The adhesive has excellent resistance to heat and chemicals, a high bond strength and a short curing time and is suitable for use in bonding materials exposed to a high-temperature atmosphere. Hence, the adhesive is useful for bonding heat-resistant electrical parts and the heat-resistant refractories of chemical plants, boilers and lamps, and can be applied to bond ceramics to each other and ceramic to metal.
