In a tractor wheel 10 having a retractable strake assembly, the strakes 2 extend through circumferentially-spaced slots 5 in the rim 6 of a spider frame spacedly secured concentrically to the wheel 10, and the radially inner ends of the strakes 2 are pivoted to the periphery of a circular plate 14 mounted concentrically with the spider on an axial hand-wheel spindle 12 which has screw-threaded engagement with a central bore in the spider hub 11, the plate 14 being rotatably retained on the spindle 12, such as between a collar 16 and shoulder 15, to be movable axially with the spindle on rotation thereof, and being rotatably adjustable on the spindle 12 to project the strakes 2 for land work, Fig. 4, or to retract them, Fig. 2, for road travel. As shown, the plate 14 is provided with pairs of diametrically aligned holes 18, 19, 20 for selective engagement over a pair of diametrically spaced pins 17 projecting from the spider centre 8, thereby to lock the strakes in projected, retracted or intermediate position. The plate 14 is clamped in the desired position by operation of the hand wheel 13 of the spindle 12, the plate 14 abutting against an axial flange 9 projecting from the spider hub 8. The radially outer ends of the strakes 2 are of T- section and are cranked rearwardly relative to the direction 3 of forward rotation to ensure that in use they emerge vertically from the soil. The securing holes 22 in the spider spokes 7 are positioned to align with the wheel securing bolts, spacers 23 being provided on the rear faces of the spokes 7 in line with the holes 22.

    • An apparatus having a modular support frame with a top deck. The top deck has a passage therein. A tower is mounted on the top deck. A moveable plate and a track are positioned within the passage. The movable plate is slidingly attached to the track. A support rotary table is disposed within the modular support frame and suspends jointed tubulars. A coiled tubing injector head interface plate is operatively attached to the movable plate, and positioned over the first aperture of the movable plate. The first aperture is positioned over the well in a first position. A rotary table is positioned over the well in a second position. The apparatus is mounted on a transport vehicle in a transport position and moved to a well site. A lifting mechanism lifts the apparatus into an upright position. Well intervention work is conducted with coiled tubing and jointed tubulars.
