    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a letter-luminescent footboard having a new concept surpassing concepts of conventional footboards.
      SOLUTION: The letter-luminescent footboard absorbs impact and emits light by coupling a plurality of luminous bodies forming a letter or graphic to a footboard base by a prescribed coupling means. The footboard is configured to include: the footboard base 200 having coupling holes 210 displaying a letter, graphic, or number; the luminous bodies inserted to the coupling holes 210 by insertion to be separated therefrom; and a luminous body support plate 120 which supports the luminous bodies, is integral with the luminous bodies, and is separated from and coupled to the downside of the footboard base 200. Thus, the letter-luminescent footboard base 200 is easily washed.

    • A lane departure warning system and method. The lane departure warning system includes an image sensing unit, an edge extracting unit, a lane recognizing unit, a lane type determining unit, a lane color detecting unit, a lane pattern generating unit, and a lane departure determining unit. The image sensing unit senses a plurality of images. The edge extracting unit emphasizes edge components necessary for lane recognition. The lane recognizing unit detects straight-line components. The lane type determining unit determines a type of the lane. The lane color detecting unit detects a color of the lane from an image signal value. The lane pattern generating unit generates a lane pattern. The lane departure determining unit determines lane departure in consideration of the type and the color of the lane and a state of a turn signal lamp.

    • Disclosed is an ice bank of a refrigerator comprising: a casing for storing ice pieces introduced through one side of an upper surface thereof, and a guide unit formed at one side of the casing so as to guide the introduced ice pieces to be stored in the casing with being uniformly distributed therein. According to the ice bank of the refrigerator the present invention, the ice pieces can be uniformly heaped in the ice bank. Accordingly, it is capable of preventing the ice pieces from overflowing resulting from that the ice pieces are heaped up around a spot where the ice pieces fall down in the ice bank and of facilitatingly containing the ice pieces in the ice bank.
