    • The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for localizing a sound source in real time. The apparatus for localizing a sound source in real time includes a sound signal acquisition unit for acquiring sound signals through two or more channels. A sample delay storage unit stores a plurality of pieces of data, sampled from the sound signals acquired through respective channels, for a predetermined period of time. A correlation calculation unit calculates correlations between the channels from the plurality of pieces of sampled data stored in the sample delay storage unit. A sound source direction calculation unit calculates an azimuth angle of the sound source using both the correlations between the channels and location relationships of the sound signal acquisition unit. Accordingly, the present invention can localize a sound source in real time.

    • A saw blade for cutting hard workpieces, such as concrete or stone, characterized by improvement of the shape of a shank of the saw blade providing a plurality of cutting tips of the saw blade with a rotational force while the cutting tips are securely attached to the shank. The saw blade comprises a disc-shaped shank having an insertion hole formed at the center thereof, through which a rotating shaft of an electric-powered tool is inserted, and wave-shaped portions formed over a prescribed portion of the radius of the disc-shaped shank, and a plurality of cutting tips attached to the outer circumference of the shank for cutting a workpiece. The wave-shaped portions are spaced a prescribed distance from each other and alternately arranged on the front and rear surfaces of the disc-shaped shank. The prescribed portion of the radius of the disc-shaped shank is at a distance from the center of the insertion hole. The cutting tips contain particles of high hardness.

    • There is provided a drill bit capable of performing a continuous drilling operation on a high-strength workpiece such as a tempered tile and the like. The drill bit comprises a bit body having a receptor portion formed therein, the receptor portion being filled with a cutting oil; a drilling portion extended from one end of the bit body and coupled to the receptor portion of the bit body to form a channel in which a capillary phenomenon occurs, and having an opening formed in one end thereof; and a cutting portion provided in the opening of the drilling portion to drill a workpiece. The drill bit thus configured may be useful to enable a continuous drilling operation on the high-strength workpiece, to enable the refilling of a cutting oil used to cool the high-strength workpiece, to shorten a time for the drilling operation on the high-strength workpiece, and to drill the high-strength work-piece to the maximum extent using the minimum number of drill bits.

    • There is provided a drill bit comprising a bit body having a receptor portion formed therein, the receptor portion being filled with a cutting oil; a drilling portion extended from one end of the bit body, having a channel coupled to the receptor portion formed therein, and having an opening formed in one end thereof and connected to the channel; and a cutting portion provided at a periphery of the opening of the drilling portion for drilling a workpiece, wherein the channel of the drilling portion has a small diameter in order that the cutting oil is not discharged outside of the channel by external pressure or gravitational force, and the channel of the drilling portion has a structure in which capillary action occurs due to cut chips flowing through the channel during drilling of the workpiece so that the cutting oil may be discharged by the capillary action.

    • The present invention relates to a cutting tool for cutting or drilling a brittle work piece such as stone, bricks, concrete and asphalt, and a method for manufacturing thereof. The present invention provides a cutting tool including a shank rotatably connected to a driving device and segments welded at predetermined intervals on an outer periphery of the shank. Each of the segments has abrasives attached thereto by brazing and the each segment is welded after the abrasives are brazed thereto. Also, a method for manufacturing thereof is provided. The present invention ensures improvement in cutting capacity and useful life of the cutting tool.
