At least one of the MIMO Rx or diversity antennas (2, 4) is adapted for transmitting and receiving WLAN and/or BlueTooth signals. 摘要： A material contains a curable liquid polymer containing suspended nanoparticles capable of exhibiting a magnetic property. The nanoparticles are present in a concentration sufficient to cause the curable liquid polymer to flow in response to application of a magnetic field, enabling the material to be guided into narrow regions to completely fill such regions prior to the polymer being cured. A method includes applying a filler material to at least one component, the filler material including a heat curable polymer containing nanoparticles, and applying an electromagnetic field to at least part of the filler material. The nanoparticles contain a core capable of experiencing localized heating sufficient to at least partially cure surrounding polymer. Also disclosed is an assembly for use at radio frequencies. The assembly includes a substrate and at least one component supported by the substrate. The substrate contains a thermoplastic or thermoset polymer with suspended nanoparticles capable of exhibitinga magnetic property. The nanoparticles are of a type and have a concentration in the polymer selected to provide a certain dielectric permittivity, magnetic permeability and dissipation factor.

摘要： In an RF antenna having a planar radiating element disposed adjacent to a ground plane, one or more metasolenoids are disposed between the radiating element and the ground plane. As such, the magnetic flux through the metasolenoids interacts with the radiating element and the ground plane, widening the bandwidth of the antenna. Each of the metasolenoid comprises a stack of split-ring resonators co-axially aligned. The gap in each split-ring resonator is oriented differently from the gap in the adjacent split-ring resonator. The use of metasolenoids disposed between the radiating element and the ground plane does not increase the volume of the radiating element.

摘要： A Frontend circuit for a wireless communication unit is proposed comprising at least two antenna feeds, at least one of them coupled to an antenna switch. The circuit comprises filters and duplexers and is prepared to operate a number of FDD frequency bands. Each FDD band comprises an Rx band for receive signals and a Tx band for transmit signals. The circuit provides a single band operation mode for each frequency band and aggregated band operation modes. In an aggregated band operation mode Rx signals can be received in two different frequency bands at the same time as well as Tx signals can be transmitted in at least one of the two different frequency bands. In addition TDD bands as well as GSM bands are covered, too.
