As a result, position information is associated with image data. Display processing is subsequently executed to display, on a map image, acquisition location presentation images that indicate the acquisition locations of the image data according to the respective position information associated thereto. In accordance with correction input in the form of a time value, correction processing is then executed to correct associated position information for all image data specified for processing and additionally update the map image to reflect such corrections. The association results are then applied and saved in accordance with save command input.

As a result, position information is associated with image data.
