    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and device for a jib crane capable of simultaneously performing the position control of hung objects in the condition in which the objects are prevented from swinging and the vibration control against a swing of the crane body due to crane operations and a turbulence resulting from a wind, earthquake, etc. only by actuating an existing motor of the jib crane in conformity to a command given by the operator.
      SOLUTION: The revolution and rising/falling of a jib are controlled through a two-degree-of-freedom control consisting of a feedback control on the gain scheduled control system using the LFT expression to be executed upon determining the LFT expression of a low dimensional model in which a rope length variation of the hung objects by the jib crane is taken into consideration and a feedforward control to control so that the hung objects and the crane body are not vibrated to be executed upon determining a filter to form the input generated by multiplying a notch filter by the inverse characteristic of a plant, and a change of the hung objects is suppressed even with varying rope length of the hung objects, which can thereby be moved to the target position without causing the crane body to make vibration.
