    • The invention relates to a method and device (1) for producing a composite component, wherein a tubular, hollow section blank (5) is placed into the die cavity (3) of a combination tool comprising an inner high-pressure shaping tool (2) and an injection-molding tool, the combination tool is filled with a fluid in such a way that the blank (5) is wetted from the inside by the fluid, and the ends of the combination tool are sealed by two axial molding plugs (6 and 7). The filled blank (5) under pressure is then widened. The finished hollow section (22) is then plastic-coated in the same tool. In order to produce the composite component in a relatively simple manner and by a reliable process, it is suggested to empty the hollow section (22) after shaping in the sealed state at least until it is no longer dripping, wherein the pressurized fluid (19) is expelled under pressure from the hollow section (22) through at least one discharge channel formed in the axial molding plugs (6 and 7).

    • A process and apparatus for manufacturing slot-shaped openings on hollow sections is disclosed in which the openings are produced by a piercing cutting operation by means of a blade-type cutting tool by the displacement of material in a cutout-free manner. During the slotting operation, the hollow sections are supported from the inside around the openings to be formed. In order to produce slot-shaped openings in a simple manner while maintaining the shape of the hollow section on arbitrarily constructed hollow sections in a reliable process free of positional tolerances, the hollow section is inserted in a recess of an internal high pressure forming tool. The hollow section is slotted by the interaction of the cutting action of a cutting tool integrated in the internal high pressure forming tool and an internal high pressure generated inside the hollow section.

    • An electric food processor has a housing in which there is arranged an electric motor with a motor shaft. A belt drives a step-down belt pulley of a vertical first shaft from the motor shaft.     • The electric food processor has a housing in which there is disposed an electric motor with a motor shaft. The motor shaft, via a gear mechanism, drives three or more concentric output drives at different rotational speeds. The common axis of rotation of the output drives is spaced a distance from the motor shaft. Working tools are selectively coupled to the output drives and the working tools rotate in a working container which is placed on the housing. In order to expand the possible uses of the food processor, the fastest output drive rotates at a speed that is suitable for a mixing tool, and the gear mechanism has at least two sets of input gear teeth that are rotatably mounted independently of each other, so that the fastest output drive can be driven out of direct engagement with the slower output drives.
