摘要： This invention relates to a process for the preparation of stable dispersions of hydroxyl-containing polyhydrazodicarbonamides in a hydroxyl-containing compound. The dispersions are prepared by the reaction of organic isocyanates, isocyanate-reactive compounds having a molecular weight in the range from 400 to 10,000, relatively low molecular weight isocyanate-reactive compounds, and hydrazines or hydrazides. This invention further relates to the dispersions prepared by said process, the use of the dispersions to prepare polyurethane foams having exceptional hardness, and the foams prepared thereby.

摘要： Polyurethanes are made by reacting a polyisocyanate with a compound containing at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms having a molecular weight of from 400 to 10,000 in the presence of a catalyst containing tertiary amino groups. The required catalyst corresponds to the formula ##STR1## in which R, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 represent a specified group or radical. A blowing agent and/or stabilizer and/or chain extending agent and/or other additives commonly used in the production of polyurethanes may optionally be included in the reaction mixture. The catalyst employed in the process is particularly advantageous in that it does not have a noticeable amine odor.

The present invention finally relates to the latent polyurethane catalysts prepared from a sulfonyl isocyanate and a tin(II)- or tin(IV)-carboxylate.

摘要： A process for preparing modified polyisocyanates in which an organic polyisocyanate is reacted with a polyamine present in less than stoichiometric amount. Polyamines suitable to this process include (a) polyamines having more than three nonaromatically bound, basic nitrogen atoms of which at least two are primary and/or secondary amino nitrogen atoms, and (b) polyamine mixtures having an average of more than three nonaromatically bound, basic nitrogen atoms of which at least two are primary and/or secondary amino nitrogen atoms. These modified polyisocyanates are particularly useful starting materials for production of polyurethane plastics by the isocyanate-polyaddition process.

摘要： Composite polyisocyanate addition products are formed from (1) the reaction product of a compound having at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms and a molecular weight of from 400 to 10,000, a polyisocyanate and a catalyst which is a diffusion stable amino alkyl urea having tertiary amino groups and corresponds to the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and n each represent specified groups or values and (2) another different material such as polyvinyl chloride, ABS, lacquers and textiles. Known additives such as blowing agents, chain extenders and foam stabilizers may optionally be used in the production of reaction product (1). The composite materials of the present invention which are particularly useful in the production of bedding and seating furniture, seats used in transport means, dashboard panels, arm-rests and for other similar applications are characterized by their lack of discoloration due to the diffusion of the catalyst employed in producing reaction product (1).

摘要： The present invention is directed to an upholstered seat consisting of an in situ foam core based on a cold foam formulation and an air-permeable covering and to a process for integrally producing an upholstered seat with improved standards of comfort by back foaming a covering material in a mold, characterized in that, in a split mold of which the dividing plane preferably extends in the vicinity of the actual seat surface, a sealed foam-impermeable covering material is applied to the internal contour of the mold and that part of the covering material which forms the actual seat surface is clamped in the dividing plane of the mold, the entire mold cavity is filled with foam by metering the foam in correspondingly large quantities, after which the sealing layer around the fully reacted foam core, where it consists of an air-impermeable material, is destroyed by a mechanical treatment, such as needle punching, flexing, compression, knocking, or by solvents to at least such an extent that it becomes permeable to air.
